It took me about a week and three batches to fully activate these grains, but resulting product was excellent! More effervescent and milder flavor than a batch I made from Lifeway commercial brand or MAHA (make America healthy again) freeze dried kefir starter culture I also bought for testing. Now I'm "developing" my own kefir culture by mixing three cultures and saving the grains. These Turkish kefir grains remind me of kumis, fermented mare's milk popular among turkish language group people of Russia and Central Asia. Overall a great product, but requires patience. First batch didn't ferment properly (pH 4.5 or lower) for over 3 days. Subsequent batches went way faster.

Bought a 2-pack of milk kefir grains and neither thrived. I have long-term kefir experience and healthy grains from other brands. One batch is shrinking, the other arrived pink and never fermented. Disappointed with quality. ⭐️

Well run and professional outfit

It was supposed to be a tablespoon of kefir grains. I have been making kefir for over 20 years and these grains are so tiny they're microscopic and there was only a teaspoon. Will try to start them but highly unlikely they'll produce a healthy batch to reproduce. I know this is a family-owned business and all but this false advertising dude!

I was worried at first when I received my grains. I ordered them not knowing that we would be having a heat wave. When they came, they were very sour slimy and I wasn’t sure that they were going to survive. I’ve had kefir grains in the past so I decided to give it a try. It took several cycles before my grains woke up and started looking healthy. I Appreciated the note That was included with my grains explaining the high temperature and if they didn’t arrive in good condition that they would be happy to replace. I didn’t need a replacement just needed to give my grains a little time.

Got the kefir grains today in a neat clean little container. I noticed a lot of small grains when I added to my glass jar and whole milk. Now to wait for my baby kefir grains to grow. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow!

The grains arrived earlier than expected. The Seller knows their product. Being new to making my own kefir, I did reach out to the Seller with questions and they responded quickly and in detail. Very helpful. The instructions were step by step and excellent. The taste is wonderful! They grains are multiplying. These grains arrived on the hottest day we have had so far and survived due to the excellent packaging. I wanted grains from Turkey. I researched many companies on Amazon selling kefir grains.
