easy to make and recommend for bitter dark chocolate lovers
I think this is a good product, but I'm not sure unsweetened cacao fits me. This is not a cheap product, but most of the time, I try to separate the price from the evaluation of the product. I don't know if it's an acquired taste to drink this unsweetened and without cream. Those who like bitter dark chocolate might like this brand a lot - I could definitely taste the chocolate flavor. I'm still trying to find out if I can drink cacao unsweetened. However, if you do add sweetener and cream, it basically becomes great hot chocolate. This ORA brand tasted significantly better than the "Crio Bru - Double Chocolate" I tried over Christmas break. Also, if you have a frother, this is really easy to prepare and brew. No filter paper needed.

Perfect for caรงao ceremonies
Perfect for a caรงao ceremony! I love the taste but I have to use a TON of organically honey since Iโm not a fan of dark chocolate! But I love it! Light some candles, drink your caรงao, include some meditation or prayers and youโre gonna have a great day and sleep well if you drink it before bed!

Melts easier than the solid types.
Great tasting hot drink to replace morning coffee. Good for the heart and blood pressure. Will buy again!

The best cacao
This is very pricey and I have looked for comparable brands, but there just arenโt any. No other brand does the rigorous and transparent testing that Ora does. Cacao can have impurities such as mold and disturbing levels of heavy metals. Ora is so far ahead of the other brands in testing that it wouldnโt be fair to subtract a star for price. This is simply the best cacao.

Good Nutrition
This Ceremonial Cacao comes beautifully packaged. The product itself comes in small disks that melt easily in the hot water. It was very bitter, but the cacao flavor itself was pretty good. The next time we drank this, we added a pinch of salt to it as that counteracts the bitterness. You still get the benefits that come from bitters in the diet, but the flavor is more pleasing. We did sweeten it with a bit of maple syrup, as well. What I do LOVE about this brand is that they carefully test for heavy metals and they list the theobromine content, as well as the caffeine content. They also list the amount of other important minerals such as magnesium. It is easy to know the vital nutrition and feel at ease that the product is not contaminated. The reason for the four stars instead of five stars is that the cacao leaves a rather acrid after-taste that leaves our mouths feeling dry and puckery--kind of like when you eat a banana that is far from ripe.

Less Cadium and Lead. Rich taste and texture.
From Africa so less cadium and lead which can be prevalent in South American brands. Intense, deep dark chocolate taste and texture. Expensive but so worth it on many levels.
