Review: My 11-year-old Havanese was a very strong chewer when she was younger and she liked to prance around proudly with her 6+ inch thick bully sticks and chew them here and there throughout the week. In the past year, I switched to very thin bully sticks because she was having pain chewing the larger ones. Even these were a problem though, because she would chew them for a few minutes and then try to swallow them whole so I had to be very vigilant. She also used to hesitate to pick them up, presumably due to pain. Recently, she stopped chewing them altogether. I bought her these tendons and she's having a great time with them. She doesn't hesitate to pick them up and she doesn't try to just give up and swallow them whole. She gets a good 20-30 minutes out of these and has a great time chewing and pulling the strings apart. I also like them because they don't smell as bad as the bully sticks, and that means she doesn't smell so bad herself!

**Q: How many are in the bag?**
A: This 16oz bag contains approximately 50-75 turkey tendons. These are long-lasting and are suitable for dogs of all breed sizes.

**Q: Are these irradiated?**
A: It doesn’t say on package and I think it would have to if they were. My dog loves them. I cut in thirds as he is small dog.

**Q: What is the approx length of these tendons (I understand there will be broken/smaller pieces)?**
A: They are approximately 8 inches long.  There are next to no broken pieces in the bag.  They are easily cut shorter if needed.

**Q: dogs barf every time we re-introduce this brand of tky tendon but not others. didn't realize they have glycerine and are irradiated. why is this?**
A: Im not sure why they barf, i cut them in half nd i give to my 2 small dogs nd they haven't any problems, i give them every nite nd they have no problems, may if you dont give daily, try to give them maybe 3 times a week or less, if not it could be their stomach is full, try to give them as a reward
