CATMen's Sire Wp Boots

These are casual-wear boots, not work or walking boots. I bought them as such, and they are comfortable to wear and look great with jeans. Being tall, they make me look (and feel) even taller.A minor quibble would be that the laces are a touch short given the size of the boot. That said, the laces are chunky and hold well, not really requiring being tied in a double bow.I protected mine with a suede/leather protector, and they did not react or change colour. I have not tried them outside in intense rain, yet, but I think that they would be water resistant, rather than full waterproof.I would not wear them for long, countryside walks (I have proper walking boots for that), but they are comfortable to wear all day, and comfortable when driving as well as strolling around town.I'm really pleased with them, and more than happy to recommend them.

Been looking for a pair of these at a decent price for a while. Missed out on a pair on a black Friday a couple of years back and been miffed ever since! Got a pair from here at a great price and honestly, one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. No break in required. They look narrow from above, I thought my wide feet might suffer but amazingly they weren't tight in the slightest. Really comfy, look good, happy customer 😊

Bought boots for 40 years best ever

Cat have for years been associated with hard wearing work wear. These are general wear boots, they are not intended for hiking long distances, they are not safety boots. They are lighter than I expected and I hope that doesn't mean that they will not last, its a little early to tell at the moment. The insoles are not worth your time, in fact I found them very uncomfortable. They consist of a standard insole with a firmer portion / pad at the heal and almost no arch support. I found it felt as if I had left something in the boots so I removed them for a more generic pair of insoles which I find far more comfortable. The lacing system is a little fiddly on the upper half of the boot but it holds well enough and could simply be that the laces and boots are new. Personally I give them 5 stars for looks but only a 3 for utility and comfort as they are already rubbing at the back of my calf where it touches the boot. The materials are ok but the lower leg support feels very stiff and cheap. Honestly a 3 out of 5 at this point. Not awful but I had hoped for slightly better.

They look amazing. Super stylish, and yet supremely rugged! They're surprisingly comfortable, considering they're boots (this is partly due to their soles - see pic to see what I mean). But looks and comfort aside, there are 2 other pros I must point out: What usually bugs me with other brand's boots are 1) they are very irritating to put on and tighten up - itusually ends up being a lengthy procedure with a lot of pulling and tugging on laces involved, and then running 2) taking them off - for some boots it can feel like you're doing an arm workout! CAT have ingeniously found simple solutions to these two problems (see other pics and notice lacing system and flexibility of the tongue, and how the laces don't impede its movement, allowing you to effortlessly slip them off. They're worth every penny! Judging from he materials they'll last years and look better as they age as well! Bravo CAT!

Do not buy this item. These boots are lovely and are very comfortable to wear. However, the hard part of the sole is thin as can be seen from the display photos and wears away quite quickly, especially if used for hiking or rough terrain. The inner sole material between this hard sole and the boot uppers is a soft rubber foam which takes no wear whatsoever. The rest of the boot remains fine but are unwearable due to having no sole and and are only fit for the dump. I tried getting them resoled but was not possible due to the soft nature of the inner sole.

Beware - I was sent a Wide Fit boot as opposed to a standard fit as advertised. Huge difference having owned a pair. Quality seemed the same, though I remember my original boots felt like slippers when I stuck them on. These did not - perhaps it was the wide size. Shame.

Two and a half years and still serving me well. Worn just about every day and all I have done is replace the laces and hosed them off once or twice a week. They are worth every penny, best purchase I have ever made.
