Persist Cycling Helmet – Adult Road Bike Helmet with MIPS Technology + Zonal Koroyd Coverage – Lightweight Impact Protection for Men & Women

The medium-size helmet fits my head well, is light and thus does not strain the neck, and appears to be designed well for head protection in the event of a crash, which I fortunately have not yet experienced while wearing this helmet. I had a catastrophic bike accident (the SUV driver was at fault for the accident) last summer while wearing another bike helmet, and the doctors at the hospital said that I would have died if I had not worn the helmet.

First is comfort, This is a rather heavy lid and with the suspension system and padding you really don't know its on your head. Ventilation is very good, its a great looking lid however It does have bit of the mushroom effect. It has MIPs so for safety and functionality I would rate it very good for this price point. The helmet is adjustable so fit and comfort are equal to helmets twice the price. The hemet has a nice gloss finish. Would I recommend this helmet ABSOLUTELY. the only cons are the mushroom effect which is not to bathe upside to that is your head is covered. and sunglasses have no holes for then. But for the price I can see many miles with this Black beauty.

This is my first "higher end" helmet. Normally I was buying a cheaper Bell option from a big box store but with all the new tech in helmet safety I figured I'd splurge a little and picked up this Smith helmet. The fit is excellent, between the dial and straps I was able to dial it in nicely. The MIPS system takes a second to get used to if you've never had it before; its allowed to move a little back and forth but you don't notice it while you're wearing it. Just something to be aware of when adjusting the fitment. I took it out for the first ride yesterday and the ventilation was good, no complaints on fitment or anything of that nature. After a minute or two I forgot I had it on. It's very light weight. Overall, a great helmet.

This helmet is definitely worth the money. Easy to adjust, comfortable to wear, lightweight and good air flow.

I'm very happy with the fit and feel of this new helmet and I love the technology it comes with that makes me feel protected. I'm hoping that as summer progresses, I will feel and appreciate the ventilation provided. My previous helmet had the honeycomb mesh in the vents which keeps bugs out but may also give slightly less ventilation. It's too early to tell yet. It's easy to adjust the straps for a pergect fit and the helmet has a sleek appearance. It's an added plus that it's made to fit well with Smith Sun Glasses. It also fits well with most cycling glasses including my Tifosi brand.

After nearly 2 decades with the same helmet, this one feels so much better! Adjusting was easy, and I no longer have discomfort under the chin due to straps. The straps are a bit rigid, yet do not feel uncomfortable. Sizing was a concern as I was on the upper end of a small (54.5), yet felt that a medium would be too big. I did not know if the helmet would come with additional pads. The small turns out to be perfect! Turns out to be a little loose, and with a few clicks of the dial, great fit! No additional pads are provided as with previous helmets purchased in the past. I thought my old Gyro was light...this helmet is even lighter. No discomfort on the neck when riding. The large panels give great ventilation and on a 90 degree + day, did not feel overly hot. The color has garnered attention and compliments - Matte Cinder. Overall, very happy with the helmet. Hope never to find out about its safety features!

Very nice helmet. Was able to fit it to my big head well. Comfortable to wear. Love the color. Ordered what I thought was orange but is more of a salmon color which is very attractive. Would buy again.
