Wonder Wheels Wheel Sealant 300ml - Repels Brake Dust, Dirt & Grime

On now for about 1 year and still working well keeping brake dust from bonding to the alloy

I bought this to protect my dark/black coloured alloy wheels, as the other products specified they were unsuitable, including the 'autoglym wheel protector'. Its very easy to use, but it does leave a white dull residue if used too generously. As a brake dust repellent/wheel protection I would say it's ok, but you would get better results with a wheel wax/sealant like Poorboy's. Although manual application does take much longer to apply compared to a spray like this.

Using it on a brand new car which is due to have two of its wheels replaced (the muppets at the dealership scratched them). So I have only used this on two wheels; one at the front and one at the back. It really does work. The untreated wheels have started to become difficult to manage as some of the brake dusts do not come off despite washing them many times. The treated wheels look brand new, only need a minimum wash for the treated wheels. I will be getting another one.

I like this product. It stop brake dust etc sticking to your alloys and makes the easier to wash. Very easy to use. Chemical smell. Fast to apply. Good quality. Decent size tin. Actually does what it's supposed to do. I apply after washing and drying alloys. Happy with my purchase

Spray on then wipe off. Not great on intricate wheels with lots of nooks and crannies. Product is white and leaves smears and streaks if not wiped properly. Just look for a product that's spray on leave done.

Make sure you clean your alloys before application doesn’t stop break dust sitting on your alloys it comes into its own when the car is washed the wheels clean up a lot easier and quicker with minimum work I’ve tried more expensive products very little difference would stick with this product

Using this after washing my wheels with Bilthamber Wheel cleaner means I don’t have to touch the wheels anymore! The seal lasts for about 6 weeks (between washes) and when the time comes to clean the wheels again they clean very easily. Obviously if you wash the wheels then this will come right off, or leave the vehicle out in prolonged/ days of constant rain then it’ll half the time the seal lasts for. I get roughly 3 treatments out of a can on 19 inch alloys
