They are not by 3M. The price point is good since I use magnets for various seasonal craft projects. I used super glue and pressed down the magnets to a wood Easter bunny. I placed it on my front door. The magnets are sturdy. The wood rabbit is light weight. I used 2 magnets (centered on top of head and bottom center of body). These magnets accomplished the job and worked out fine for my green and cream plaid Easter bunny. I recommend the product despite the fact that these magnets are not self-adhesive and not made by 3M.
