The UV output from these is very strong. They're in the UV wavelength that overlaps with visible purple light so they do also give a fair bit of visible purple light but for a stage application or party I don't think that's an issue at all.They certainly make UV reactive things glow nicely. The best effect is achieved in a really dark room and then stuff really pops. They'd be ideal for a UV party. Be sure to black out the windows and turn off all other lights though as any visible light seems to reduce the effect.Operation is really simple. Plug in and switch on/off with the power switch on the cable. That's it. They have a hanging bracket that can also be used as a floor stand.The included tapes glow nicely, the yellows and pinks are the brightest but they do all react to the UV light.

This set of two UV lights are great. My friend runs clubbing themed excersize classes so I bring these along to add to the atmosphere. They are high quality, bright and cover a large area. They are great for parties too as they plug directly into a normal socket and are durable enough to travel with, unlike traditional UV bulb lights that are fragile. Very pleased with these high quality UV light panels.
