Great price, metal hooks and extras I wouldn't even think of! AMAZING for beginners!

I've been crocheting all my life. Seriously, I started when I was about 7 & I'm now 60, so yeah.....my whole life. I've also had an extremely hard time keeping up with all my hooks & little gadgets. Even at Walmart the cases are just too high, but I finally decided to try this one because it comes with a lot of little extras. I felt that I was getting a little bit more for my money. Anywhose.....I LOVE this! It's been about 4 months & I haven't lost a single hook! I still have all my little gadgets, I put them into a medium size zip container that I bought to keep loose beads in. Just slip it inside & keep the outer shell zipped up & it works great! Slips right into my purse, or crochet bag so I'm never without it. Absolutely LOVE it!!!!

Absolutely wonderful! These are easy to use whether a beginner or an advanced crocheter. It is well worth the money. I have shared them with some of my crochet buddies and they wanted information on how to purchase a set for themselves.

It's nice to get a complete set for such an good price. Quality is very similar to in store products like boye hooks. The colors are so much fun.

I have mixed feelings about this. It came with everything pictured and several of the extra tools are actually very useful! However, I thought the silicone grips would come off and on to other hooks and they do not! Wish I had known that because I might have picked a different kit, but overall a good deal for all that it comes with.

I wanted to start a new hobby, and have been interested in crochet for awhile. Definitely a great purchase! I tried a few of the books last night and they are very lightweight. I don’t know the standard for crochet needles, but I do like that size is labeled! Highly recommend as a gift or a purchase for oneself!

I learned to crochet from my grandmother when I was about 9-10 years old and I've been crocheting for about 50 years now. These are an excellent value. The crochet hooks are perfect, it's nice they included the little stitch markers, those always come in handy and are much nicer than using a safety pin. I ordered this set to use to teach two of my granddaughters (ages 10 and 9) how to crochet. It's something they'd been asking me to show them for a while now. We were moving cross country and I thought this would keep them occupied in the car for nearly 2,000 miles (which it did) and I told them once they master making a chain consistently in size, we could move on to different stitches, as the chain is the basic foundation of everything they can make, and then eventually I would show them how to crochet a hat. They were very eager and excited to learn. They picked up crocheting very quickly and both are now consistent in chain size, can't wait to teach them more and glad they're interested in learning. I used to make and sell my items online. My family all wear hats I've made and they all have baby blankets and bigger blankets that I've made them, so I'm hoping they can one day make something for their children when they have some of their own. The media could not be loaded.  This kit comes with everything you need to crochet — big hooks for fluffy yarn, tiny hooks for bead crochet, scissors, stitch markers, and embroidery needles. It's crichet-in-a-bag. I feel like I could make anything. It was great to buy yarn and not worry whether I had the right hook size for it. Let the creativity flow.I haven't extensively used every hook in this bag, but nothing has broken and I'm not experiencing any problems with the yarn slipping. These crochet hooks are comfortable enough to hold, but those with a tight grip may find the metal unyielding. This is a great basic set and a good gift for a beginner.
