Without this finer adjustment you might have to live with an espresso shot that either choked or was too coarse/watery with probably no good in-between. The other alternative might have been to source a third-party "modded" adjustment dial with finer adjustment. **Q: I dont even see this model on timemores website c3 esp pro? is it all metal including internals and the lid? why is every review a vine customer? cft?** A: I haven't been able to find this product on the TIMEMORE website either although a search for "ESP" on their global store turns up a different model with a different handle and non-numbered adjustment dial. It could be that this was only initially released to different regions and markets and TIMEMORE is (hopefully) preparing for a more formal global release (which might explain the advance Vine reviews). Every component I have access to appears to be metal including the integrated struts around the shaft as well as the grind adjustment dial, lid, handle, knob, and catch cup.
