Odd Words
Great product that my toddler immediately loved but the word choices are a little odd (X for Xmas??)

Pens are crap. Some illustrations are weird.
The pens are junk. They leak everywhere. We just use a paintbrush with a cup of water. The water reveal works quickly and dries well. The cards are nice and thick. I love that the letters are water reveal too so my toddler can practice tracing the letters. The biggest bummer is that some of the illustrations are odd on a few. The Q card features a queen sitting on a throne, but her legs are bare and it's kind of weird. The P card features a track and soccer goal, which isn't really a playground as stated. And the L is for library is just cropped weird. Only the part inside the black box is what is "revealed" when you paint it. Good for the price though.

Great speech therapy option
These are great for speech therapy fun, just awesome! like surprise eggs but without all the little pieces to pick up. My 2yr son absolutely loves these, he jumps excitingly as I reveal what's in the box with the water pen. I did away with the metal ring, and just put them in the box. I don't trust the metal ring with him so young. I would pick these over the electronic cards for speech therapy because the child can see you say the words, versus battery operated just giving the sound. The only thing I would change about this is some of the cards word choices for certain letters, so I will be shopping around for more with words he is more familiar with. But even when he's older he can trace the letters so it's a nice toy he can grow with, and he'll become more familiar with all the words. So this was a pretty good value.

Great alternative to makers and paint
This is a great idea if you don’t want the mess of makers and paint. Just fill the pen with water and the kids can color the page, once it dries the sheet is plain again. The only downside is if they press too hard the can scrape the page, which makes it always colored, and also damage the little brush. But other than that a great idea.

Cool idea
Fun for kids! Easy to use! We love the value and quality for the money. More importantly my kid loves using them. They’re quite functional and are fun while reposition is being introduced.
