We liked the look of some Pottery Barn cordless Roman shades we had and wanted to get more for other rooms, but they run $300 per window now. So I shopped around and found these custom shades on Amazon. They compare favorably with the competition even when ordered with all the bells and whistles - they cost approximately 30% less (which adds up quickly if ordering for multiple windows) and are custom perfect fits on my windows. I do wish they had the auto-raise functionality my other shades have (they retract if pulled slightly), but it’s a worthwhile tradeoff for the price. The seller was very responsive in confirming the measurements and advising on window frame placement for the brackets. Installation was relatively easy - snapping the bracket into place on the shade took some trial and error. These are a little more complicated to purchase than your average item, but it’s time well spent. I will be ordering more for another room.

I ordered 8 of these shades. All of the ones that are raised and lowered on a regular basis have had the string on the back snap. They have not been roughly treated. I have done warranty replacements on a few. At first they wanted $100 each to replace but, then I reminded them of their warranty and gave up and spent the $35 each to remake the broken ones. They said the shades are not repairable. So disappointed! The string used to raise and lower them is horrible and has no durability whatsoever!

I've ordered 3 sets of these. The first I've had for about a year now. They've held up and are still in good shape, so I decide to use them again for our other 2 bedrooms. They seem pretty durable and I like the different backing options and string options. The strings are a bit long and messy, so I got the no string on the last one and that seems like the best option for me. It's scary to trust customizing shades online so you definitely want to get the measurements right, but they help ensure that by asking for a picture of the window and communicating any inconsistencies before completing the order. I've been very satisfied using this brand for our window shades.

These were perfect for our living room windows. We installed new picture windows and wanted a treatment that would allow maximum viewing area. The colors offered worked for us and they were super easy to install. They are sturdy, light weight and beautiful!

We purchased these for our two 8 foot French doors that look out to our back yard. They company was very easy to work with and even sent me material swatches so I could choose the right fabric. From the inside they are pretty bit from the outside not as cosmetically pretty. I choose the white backing and was hoping by doing so that it would be what I saw from outside. I have purchased other Roman shades with backings and the string that pulls the shade up was always in the middle of the fabrics and not visible from the outside. The pictures are hard to see with the glare. If your not worried about what it looks like from the outside I’d say it’s worth the money. I’m giving them 4 stars because of the quality however for what I paid for these they should be pretty from both angles..

I don't normally write reviews but given that this product literally saved us about $9,000, I am taking the time to say thank you and leave a review. We got quotes for more than $12,000 to put in simple roman shades in our condo in white linen. I was highly skeptical/nervous about ordering off Amazon but $12K was completely out of my price range. The measurements were easy and the communication with the seller following up on the measurements was also easy--note the seller appears to be in China based off the shipping--but her english was completely fine in our emails and the shipping company experience was also just fine. Note, though if you look up the tracking numbers you will need to use google translate. We ordered 16 shades, including 2 full length for French doors. The total was less than $3K. I do highly recommend ordering the lined versions. We've gotten compliments on them and you would never know they they didn't come from one of the custom shops that quoted us $12K. Sure I would have preferred to pick out my fabric but the fabric is a nice soft white linen. My husband installed them in about 3-4 hours and they all fit great. He said it was easy after he installed the first two. The key is accurate measurement and listen/respond to their suggestions. Highly recommend this seller.
