She needed some time to get to know the house, so I used this screen to keep her from coming out into the living room and kitchen, and exploring one room at a time. The screen is stable, but mainly because it comes with thumbtacks to pin into the wall. The adhesive is not very good, and does not stay on but the thumbtacks do help. However, even the thumbtacks have a hard time staying in some spots and I have to keep pushing them back into the wall which now looks like Swiss cheese from all the holes. It’s aesthetically pleasing for being a random screen that blocks a door. I bought it in white because my entire apartment is painted white and my furniture is white and it blends right in. The zipper is becoming stuck a little bit, but I manage. There are no holes in the screen and no damage so far, even though sometimes my cat claws at it. Overall, it serves its purpose.
