Nice knitting needles for making hats and stuff :D

I have been knitting for about a year now and consider myself an "advanced beginner". I started out making hats on circular needles. I am starting to accumulate a nice little collection of needles so far but didn't have the correct size for a new hat pattern I wanted to try. Having 7 sets of circulars from various manufacturers ranging from economy types to mid range to higher end circulars, I have come to appreciate the qualities that make a set of circulars a pleasure to use. So far, these are my favorites. The stainless steel needles are silky smooth and well balanced. Yarn slides beautifully over these needles. The points are just right, not too sharp and not too blunt, and I find that I don't split the yarn at all with these needles. The slight bend between the needle and cable eliminates that awkward transition from rigid needle to the cable. The join between the needle and cable is very smooth and secure. The cable itself is a dream to work with. It is super flexible and "low memory" so you don't have that annoying tight coil that seems to be a problem I have noticed with the plastic type cables that make starting a project less than enjoyable. If I had to list one draw back about these circulars it would be the laser etched size on the needle. I love that the size is marked on the needle but being past middle age, my vision isn't what it used to be. I find that laser etched print is so fine it is very difficult for me to read. This is by no means a deal breaker for me and it in no way detracts from my enjoyment of these tools. These circulars are packaged in a fairly sturdy zip close plastic package that is marked with the size and that's good enough for me. I will definitely purchase other sizes of these circulars and highly recommend them.

These are amazing! Grabbed other ones from local store and figured daughters could use them to start off. If they like knitting then will invest in better ones. After working with daughters and then going back to these —- just wow, what a difference. This brand not only makes them well but comfortable too. They feel great in my hands, and my work does not twist and bend like other circular needles. They make it easier for stitches to be consistent. The yarn does not snag! I’m sure will be buying more. The hats I’ve made look great! The more I use them, the more I love them.

They're perfect. They let the yarn slide on the needle very easily, and the join between the needle and the cable is almost seamless. The cable doesn't kink up the way others do and I love that it's memory free and very sturdy. They're the best needles I've used so far and I've been knitting for several years and used lots of other supposedly good needles. Highly recommend.

This round knitting needle is very comfortable to use. The yarn slides easily from the cable to the needle. Short round needles are a little hard to knit with because of the small size, but it sure beats double-pointed needles!

The media could not be loaded.  I love ChiaoGoo needles that’s why I gave it 5. I didn’t realize the red cable is not 16”. It’s tip to tip 16”. Red cable is about 7 1/2”. Not comfortable to do decreases for toe tip. Very sharp needles so trying to move yarn and knit was a challenge. My fingertip is soooo sore almost bloody.

This is the nicest circular needle that I've knitted with. I'm using a 16" needle for knitting a hat and the other needles I've used before have a stiff cable or a transition from needle to cable that isn't smooth and that catches stitches. This Chiagoo needle is very smooth and the cable is totally flexible. Knitting with it is really a pleasure. I thought it was pretty pricey, but now I'm happy that I have it.
