The hoops are in a perfect range of sizes, feel sturdy, and are very smooth, unlike most wooden hoops you find in craft stores. Recommend!

Haven't tried them yet, hope it holds the material in place. I've always used wooden hoops because the wood has more grab. We will see, the plastic seemed like it would ship better and they are in perfect condition.They were in a clear plastic bag inside of a bubble envelope.The needles look fine as well.Update: Theres a groove inside the hoops, a channel and all the edges seem smooth.I don't know if it has wiggle room for heavy denims , I guess you can search for a longer screw. I think linen will be okay.Lighter fabrics with what came with them.

With upcoming cross stitch projects, these were value for my money because I got 6 sizes for a cheap price. Easy to use and tightens great. First time using plastic, so I have been careful.

Perfect variety of sizes easy to use and holds fabric well

Not really fond of the plastic. Some of the screws were missing when I got them but they are working ok.

They're not as nice as the wooden ones, but they are still sturdy and durable! I love them! They hold the fabric in place pretty well. The screw on the side is also adjustable for tautness.

I bought these just to "size" up a project once i finished stitching in my expensive nurge hoops. I am using it for a scale so I know what to buy in size for a fancier hoop. They operate well enough if you want to use it for display. Cant beat the price and comes with some starter needles for embroidery.
