The Complete Results and Line-Ups of the European Champions League 1991-2004

This short book, gives every result and team line up of every round of the forgotten Inter Cities Fairs Cup from 1955-1971. The first few years of the competition were dominated by Spanish teams, with only 3 English clubs winning the trophy Leeds, Newcastle and Arsenal. Leeds were the only English team to win it more than once, and even Celtic and Rangers never got very far in this competition, apart from Hibernian whom got the semi finals. This competition was not a UEFA tournament, and as such UEFA does not recognise the Fairs Cup as a major honour, though FIFA does. I do find it annoying that in books and the Premier League Sticker Album they have Arsenal, Leeds and Newcastle as winning the UEFA Cup with Fairs after it in brackets. This was a completely different competition and trophy, and the UEFA Cup did not start until the 1971/72 season. The book is rather pricey, so I would opt for a used condition of this book as it is overpriced at 22.50 for a short paperback book of statistics. Overall a great book.
