Don't know you need it until you do. Finally purchased this pastry cutter and I love it. Well-made, stainless (non-toxic), sturdy handle and blades, and great price. Works great and goes in the dishwasher!

This truly IS heavy duty. I just upgraded from the classic wire with wood handle cutter, and this Rainspire cutter is so much easier to use. The soft grip handle is so much easier on the hands and it cuts through butter in flour quickly. Am very happy with this purchase. Wish I'd done it years ago!

This is the best quality pastry cutter I have ever purchased!!! Cuts evenly through butter and flour making the end result super tasty!!! The handle fits my hand and wrist so perfectly makes cooking a breeze. I made biscuits that came out fantastic!!! Rainspire XL Pastry Cutter For Baking, Heavy Duty Pastry Blender Stainless Steel was much better than the one I previously purchased. It is nice and strong and comfortable to hold. Unfortunately, it had some rough edges that I had to file off. Otherwise, it would receive 5 stars.

Works exactly as expected. Cuts through butter and flour easily and makes baking way faster. The size is great for bigger batches and it feels sturdy in your hand. Simple tool but very effective.

Excellent quality. When I first saw the price of this item I was sure it had to be made of plastic to be so inexpensive. I read about it and saw it was stainless steel. For the price I wasn't sure what I'd get. What was delivered was fantastic. The blades are stainless steel, the handle is very comfortable and makes for easy use. I'm thrilled with this product. The quality is first rate, the price, very inexpensive when compared to others advertised, the service, great. Don't hesitate to buy this due to the price. It's perfect.

I liked the idea that you actually had one & that it was much sturdier made than the one I had. My old one was around 40 + years old. I wasn't sure they even made them any more with all the food processors around. When I was much younger I used it to make my own pastry and it definitely gave your hands a workout but the pastry always turned out great. As the years have gone by along with life changes I didn't use it as much. We did find a use for it though and it was my husband who discovered it. He is the one who makes all the devilled eggs in our household and it is perfect for mashing up the eggs. He really missed the old one so I thought I'd look on Amazon. You had many to choose from and we are extremely happy with the one we found. Thank You Amazon for always having what we need and delivering it in a timely fashion.

Did a lot of research before buying. Too many reviews of inferior products cited bending or breaking after a few uses. Not this one, ordered and arrived quickly, removed some burrs on knives, washed then put to use. Superior performance and expected to last a long time
