I have a ROG Strix 17.3 gaming laptop. Great computer but it runs very hot when challenged. I bought several coolers, most at double the price or more than this one. The air flow was good, but each had a problem with the USB A within weeks to months. Power wouldn’t stay on, finicky. They had less fans, but larger, and faster. I had my concerns with these being smaller, and slower. The thing is, my laptop is running lots cooler with these. Because it covers the entire underside, the placement is so much better that it has air going in everywhere, every point of entry. It’s awesome. The hot air that was always coming from each side of the laptop, often hot enough that I had to move the mouse away because it burned….now, is barely warm. And certainly not uncomfortable. It is so cool that I don’t even take notice of the heat coming from the laptop. I also saw people saying that it doesn’t move much air. It’s not the strongest, but it doesn’t need to be with so much area coverage. But I also believe they may not have been using it right. It lies flat, at about half the thickness of the bigger more expensive coolers, so if you don’t elevate it at least one notch, it can’t pull air. Soon as I raised it one notch, big difference in air flow. As much as the other earlier ones with 3 larger fans. Love the lights on the fans as well. Let’s you see them so you know they are spinning. The old coolers, I had to check it by hand. No visual. The illuminated controls great for seeing the speeds in the dark. And personally, I love the changing rainbow effects if lights racing around all sides. I’ve already had complements at work and home. I bought two. Move the laptop, but don’t need to move the cooler. And yes, the fans are whisper quiet even on the highest setting. My typing on the keyboard is 10 times louder. Highly recommended. Best cooler I’ve bought at any price. I’ve had like 6 in the last 4 years. This is hands down my favorite, would define buy again. Enjoy.

TLDR: The headline for this review is all you need to know. You can stop searching now. Buy it. If you bought or are planning to buy a gaming laptop, you will NEED one of these. Gaming laptops run HOT. They do their best to cool. However, if you're not in an air conditioned room and your ambient room temperature isn't absolutely frigid, your laptop will overheat. That's guaranteed. Laptops are not the ideal form factor for a GPU engineered for gaming or content creation. If you're not running a proper tower rig with all the trappings of a water cooled setup, know that you're reducing the lifetime of your GPU. When the GPU gets hot, your game will start dropping frames, and the performance will plummet... QUICKLY. I first noticed this when I was playing Wuthering Waves on my laptop. I was running at 4K resolution just fine — until about 30 minutes of gameplay. The frame rates would drop to single digits, and the game would quickly become unplayable. Games like Wuthering Waves really push a GPU. It was not until I noticed that my laptop became so hot that it was too hot to touch (I literally burned by figer touching the underside), that's when I checked the temperature: 96° C!! The ambient temperature of my GPU under load is 71° C (Honkai Star Rail), but a more demanding game like Wuthering Waves would quickly push that to 85° C. I needed to cool my laptop by some other means. That's when I started to research cooling options. The KeiBn Laptop Cooler Pad came highly recommended and now I see why. After I bought, shipped and setup this bad boy, the running RBG lights light up my household the moment I plugged in the USB cable that ships with it. But that's not what really impressed me. After running Wuthering Waves for about an hour with this cooling pad lit up, my laptop quickly hit the top temperature of... ...61°C. And it stayed there... for another 4 hours... eventually dropping to 54° C as the night cools. No more dropped frame rates. No more overheating GPU. Nothing but ultra-smooth, ray traced, gaming goodness at 4k resolution... for hours — at an average of 61° C. This cooling pad WORKS. On top of all of that, it is SUPER quiet. You'll only notice the fans if you have complete silence in your room. Otherwise, it blends into the background hum of any other electronics you have running in your room. The fans blow air INTO the bottom of your laptop's intake vents, which improves circulation inside your laptop as it pushes hot air out of the side and back. The device even comes with an LED display at the bottom, with a few buttons that allow you to control fan speed. I turned my fan speed all the way to the maximum. The cooling pad is powered by the USB port on the side. There are two of them. Just plug one into any available USB-A port on the side of your laptop. The cable that comes with it is long enough to stretch to the back of a 17" laptop if needs be. Additionally, it doesn't block any of the ports on the side or back of your latop. So it's perfect for running all of the usual cables to your machine as you normally would. If you're buying a gaming laptop or you've already invested in one, you NEED one of these. My husband owns one already and he’s had it for a year and it is still working great. I am very happy with my purchase. It’s durable thick but not bulky and it’s comfortable if I put it on my lap. The airflow feels great it does the job of cooling off my laptop. The size is perfect for my 17.3 inch laptop. It is quiet and in the highest fan level you can hear some noise but it isn’t loud enough to bother. It is a fan so of course we will hear a little something.

Works good in terms of cooling. Can't speak for the brightness of the lights and all because I usually leave them off. The height adjustment is good, elevates your laptop a fair bit. I think it'll last a while for me, seems to have a good lifespan. The only real issue why I took a star off is due to the fact that the USB cable they give you for the power for this cooling pad is quite small, so you most likely have to use one of yours. Airflow is good and cools my laptop fast. Comfortable in my backpack as well.

Might be too soon to review how long it will last, but upon getting this item I really liked it. You can feel all the cooling fans coolness and it works great! I love the feature that it won't take up one of your USB ports because it comes with two... one to plug the actual fan into your laptop and one to make up for the one you used on the laptop. It's aesthetically pleasing with it's pretty lights and has a bunch of different options and speeds.

Does its job. Fans are quiet, I just wish they were more powerful then expected. Cools the laptop enough to count but don't expect it to be ice age frozen when pluged in. Very easy to use, flashy lights if you prefer it as such, mine's always on light blue. Hand rests comfortably over the unit. I'd say if you want a more powerful outcome spend over £100 on another product. 4.5 stars out of 5 from me

The design is beautiful and sturdy. It has 9 fans, which can be used at 6 different speed levels. There is a wide range of RGB LED options. It is advertised to support up to 17-inch laptops. My beast is 18 inches, and although I had some doubts, the 2-finger gap at the back does not cause any balance issues. All the fans directly provide airflow under the laptop. The fans are very quiet, which is great. They’re not very powerful, but I think they’re sufficient for cooling. There are 2 USB ports on the right side of the platform. I wish one was placed on the left side. The USB cable it comes with isn’t long, but it reached my laptop from right to left; it just creates a bit of visual clutter, but that’s not a big issue. The adjustable height feature is very good. It can be comfortably used at any level. The product is very successful for its price-performance ratio. It was delivered from America to Singapore incredibly quickly (in 9 days), very impressive. Thank you.
