The gender bender aspect is handled tastefully and the main character takes everything in stride.(Like hiding behind his friend to avoid leering men well wondering if he's ever made a lady feel uncomfortable lol.)Our story moves at a brisk pace well not overwhelming you, we go from an era of divine warriors of the gods to enchanted magic knights with a sense that something has gone wrong since our main character's previous life.It does a good job of making you feel invested and the art is beautiful you could almost follow along with just the emotions on their faces.I can't wait until the next volume and learn more about what's going on behind the scenes, happy I gave it a shot.

Accomplished and respected king reborn as girl just wants to have fun -- i.e. BATTLE! BATTLE! BATTLE!It's a lightweight romp, with good graphics, good looking girls, and a nice consistent, not too complicated plot to get our OP hero/heroine from one battle to the next. There is consistent world building and a bigger story in the background, but really what matters for our heroine is improving her skills and finding tougher opponents.

This is a well drown manga will a awesome novel to live up to.The art is good and the story doesn't change much only the dialogue has some changes but still good.

Man, this was awesome! A powerful protagonist, and she is a girl too! Heck ya! Definitely want to see the sequel to this! Hayaken, thank you for this story! Can't wait to see what lies ahead in the future volumes!
