I was skeptical, but it works great!
My wife ordered this to treat our teak chairs, which had faded and looked grubby. I said "Teak is supposed to get gray with time." She insisted we give it a try. Sanding wasn't very easy, so instead we power-washed them and let them dry before applying this product. When it first goes on, you might panic a little, because it looks milky and light brown. I was worried it was going to look like a cheap paint job. It's very easy to use - it comes with sponge paintbrushes for applying. Just be aware that it's very thin, not like paint or even varnish. The product is watery. So be sure to use a drop cloth, or you might spatter it all over. You need very little product at all to get good coverage. I'd estimate we used less than a cup (8 fluid ounces) to do one large Adirondack chair (see photo). So you can probably treat a whole bunch of teak furniture with just one bottle.Take a look at the photo - the one on the left has been power-washed, the one on the right has four coats of TeakGuard. It looks as good as the day we bought it. The finish is really rich, and the wood grain shows through. We're really happy with the results. This is a product I'll recommend to anyone whose teak furniture is starting to look a little old. What a difference! Great value and an excellent product.

Read the Manual
We liked that most of the items we needed to refinish our teal deck were included in the TeakGuard Teak Cleaning Kit. I highly recommend reading the manual before starting as it's very informative. Also, it's best to be patient with your project. Its manual is now downloadable using the QR on the Teal Finish bottle. We used power tools like a sander and grinder to speed up the wood prep process. Wear gloves when using the bronze wool, as it can be harsh on your hands. Both the included brushes and the super cleaner solution were helpful and great! The most enjoyable part was applying the teal finish with the foam brushes. Next time, I would focus on refinishing a smaller piece of furniture and see how it goes before targeting our deck. At last, we were happy with the results and hope the refinish will last as long as advertised.

It won't do the work for you, but all the supplies are on hand.
Includes copper scrubbing wool as well as many more applicators than shown in the picture, and 64 ounces of Teak Guard, which seems to be a sealer. It is not an oil.(Some experts say sealer is better than oil, because sealer just hardens the surface and protects the teak's natural oil, while adding something like tung oil could displace the natural oil and actually make the teak less durable.)It's still a messy job, but all the tools are here.

Works great
This kit worked wonderfully to restore our outdoor table and six chairs, making them look almost brand new again. The cleaner was especially effective, removing mold and significantly improving the furniture’s appearance after the initial wash. The restorer, which seems to be mostly wood bleach, didn’t seem necessary since the first wash had already cleaned everything so well, so we skipped it and moved on to the final step—applying the teak oil. The teak oil worked great, but we ended up needing a second bottle because the table continued to absorb it. To save some money, I recommend washing your furniture first with soap, water, and a little bleach. If you're happy with how it looks, you can just order the teak oil separately, especially if you’re working with a lot of furniture or larger pieces like we did.

Complete kit
This is a really complete quality kit. From the medium grit sanding blocks to the cleaning brushes, I am really happy with everything this brings. The quantity of the foam brushes and bronze wool pads is all you'll need for any job. The 64 oz jug is more than plenty to cover several times over any outdoor furniture and table that needs refinishing. Great quality and easy to use even for a first timer, just read instructions first.

Has everything except gloves
Survived shipping without issue. The kit includes a generous number of foam brushes. Was surprised to find that cleaning brushes included are name-brand. I do wish a paper version of the manual vs. having to use the QR code or visit the website (although those are good backup options in case of "where did I put the manual".) I do wish that the bronze wool came in bags, as some loose pieces tend to shed off, making a little bit of a mess in the box.

A lot of work to prep your teak, use the products, and then have to do it again in a year.
Preparing your teak chairs and benches for application of this product is a lot of work. There's sanding, cleaning, washing. The instruction manual is very long and would be better if it were simplified and condensed. For chairs and benches with slats, the reality is that you're never going to be able to remove all the teak oil, or sand or clean in between those slats completely. The tools they give you for cleaning and applying the solution are very good quality, but, at least on our benches, nothing's going to get into those areas. And the instruction manual is pretty clear -- if you don't get everything clean, when you apply the final solution, you're going to experience chipping and peeling around the 3-month mark. So, we ended up sanding and then using the cleaning solution, which comes in a very fine mister bottle. The instructions for that say to spray it on, wait 30-60 seconds and then scrub it, but to not let it dry. It was a reasonably nice day when we tried this and we were in the shade, but it dried very quickly, in less than a minute, before we had a chance to scrub it. Applying it more heavily is hard to do with such fine misting bottles. Our benches looked much better after some sanding, cleaning and scrubbing, so we opted not to use the treatment at all. We didn't want it peeling off where it was impossible to clean and we didn't want to have to go through the process and renew that coating every year. Going forward, we'll just do a light sand and then give the benches a good scrubbing with a stiff brush and some type of cleaning product. The work and cost involved in using this kit are more than we want to do.
