The cushion works quite well. It holds most of its thickness and forms well to the body. It is the most comfortable one I have used for kayaking, even when pedaling for a full day of 6 to 8 hours. It fits well in the kayak seat and the strap keeps it in place.

The little cut out in the back of the cushion is perfect to help relieve the weight-bearing in the pressure from being on my back. I can literally sit on this cushion for hours at a time without any discomfort! I did a lot of research regarding wheelchair cushions because I didn’t know anything about them and there are so many different ones to choose from. With that being said, I’m beyond happiness that I chose to purchase this one. If you purchase a different one you have no idea what you’re cheating yourself out of!

I got this for my father who cannot sleep in a bed and sleeps in an office chair. He’s never had bed sores from it, but he’s recently had spinal surgery that left him pretty dependent on the chair and limited any walking or movement. It’s been about a week of him being sore we’ve tried all local options like adding bedding, foam pads, etc. A couple days of him sitting on this his mood has changed. It stays cool, it keeps the pressure off of the sore, and it keeps him as comfortable as he can be. I was skeptical because it is a firm cushion and i didn’t think it would sit right on his chair, but this *works* and I couldn’t be more grateful to have purchased this honestly. I even sat on it for a little bit before he wanted to try it and i was cozy lol.

When I used to go trips out of the house in my wheelchair, I would start to get uncomfortable right away, and painful after about an hour or so. I tried a few other cushions, folded towels, etc. but none of them helped. Then I purchased this cushion, and it's a game-changer. Its very comfortable for extended periods; I think the fact that the padding flows over the front edge is one of the things that helped the most. The pad is very secure and I have not had any issues with it shifting or sliding, even when taking bumpy public transportation. It does make me sit a bit higher in my wheelchair but not so much that it impacts how I fit in it. I highly recommend this cushion.

It was comfortable up until about the 8th month. I'm in a year and it's hard and no longer provides comfort. Maybe I got one that wasn't manufactured properly but as for this one it's definitely not helpful anymore. Oh I only weigh 150 with a little bitty toosh.

100% We Recommend! We purchased this for my wheelchair that is only used occasionally. It is a fantastic upgrade to how the seat feels. I am so pleased with the rounded edge, it really takes the pressure off the back of my thighs. We had a family outing just days after getting this, I honestly did not realize how uncomfortable the seat of my wheelchair was without this. On that family outing, I kept saying how amazed I was at the level of comfort this offered. It helped with how warm my bottom got, it greatly helped with my fidgeting. It truly made the use of my wheelchair vastly more comfortable. Just weeks after getting this, I had to go to the Emergency Room. We were there for over 8 hours before they admitted me to a room to be kept overnight. Very quiicky after getting to the ER, they had me in a bay on a hospital bed. My husband ended up using my wheelchair as a chair for that entire time. He said he was SO happy we had gotten the cushion. In the regular hospital room, he used the cushion in a chair. After a short amount of time he decided my wheelchair with the cushion was a more comfortable seat. Using it for the rest of my stay. It shipped quickly and was packaged well, it is easy to clean. As well as easy to move around as we take the wheelchair in and out of the car. We both recommend getting this!!!

Excellent cushion for comfort and easing back pain. My husband tried this in a travel chair with not much padding. He loved it. He could sit comfortably in the chair for longer periods of time with no pain.
