Must read if you want to become millionaire fast
This book is a refreshing take on the conventional wisdom surrounding wealth accumulation. I particularly liked the fact that it gives a different mindset to getting rich quick, challenging the slow lane of saving and investing over decades. DeMarco presents a compelling roadmap towards rapid wealth creation, emphasising entrepreneurship, value creation, and leveraging opportunities. His candid and sometimes blunt writing style makes for an engaging read, while his practical advice provides a clear, actionable path for aspiring entrepreneurs. If you're looking for an alternative to the traditional get-rich-slow schemes, this book is a must-read.

Best wealth wisdom book ever
This is the best book on making money I have ever read—full of insights that deeply resonate with my own experiences and reflections. I truly admire the authors’ wisdom and their remarkable ability to convey it so effectively. I only wish I had had the chance to read this book years ago when it was first published!

A great read to understand the mindset of a successful entrepreneur
The Millionaire Fastlane is a book that inspires but also makes you feel terrible that you are not a multi-millionaire.The author MJ DeMarco, highlights the way to becoming wealthy through the concept of the slowlane and the fastlane. The slowlane is explained as getting a good job, saving, investing in the stock market, being careful with money – until the ‘payoff’ when you are old you’ll also be rich. The fastlane – the main theme of the book is about using finite time effectively to maximise the amount of money made. The first few chapters really repeat ‘Get rich slow’ and constant references to Lamborginies, therefore I did begin to wonder if the author was just a one-note bragger, critiquing a lifestyle without offering answers to achieve wealth. As I persisted through the authors logic becomes clearer and he offers a solution to the fastlane. With a preference to using time effectively to maximise money made, he is quite critical of people in business who are putting in more time than if they were employed. So businesses like owning a restaurant are considered slowlane, however owning a franchise of restaurants is fastlane.Other ideas explored are the ‘money tree’“It was a flourishing money tree that made money 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and it didn’t required my life for the trade”This is basically making a business through passive income and the author does a good job inspiring the reader on ways they too could make money on ventures that require small levels of maintenance. The author dismisses ‘money chasers’ the people who are drawn to ‘events’ selling the latest fad to get rich quick. It is clear that the author put in hardwork to start his business from the ground-up, learning about website design from books while doing menial jobs. There is a focus on providing a good customer service in business and acknowledges that entrepreneurs should be starting a business from the perspective of what can be offered to the customer and not what the owner wants. The Millionaire Fastlane is an interesting and inspiring read that covers all areas to start a fastlane business and is a great book to learn the mindset of an entrepreneur.

Amazing book - don't be put off by title!
I have read a lot of self-development / wealth books and this one is one of the best, if not the best. I have already read it twice.MJ turns conventional wisdom on its head - and he walks the walk. He is not a fake guru. There is very little theory, it is just good practical advice from someone who has started multiple successful businesses. The most important points for me were about the CENTS framework for starting a business (Control, Entry, Need, Time, Scale), and the "Fastlane, Slowlane, Sidewalk" distinction (mindsets on business). The writing is humourous, engaging and clear.Highly recommend if you want to start a business.

Most useful and interesting
This book is excellent. I like how the book is very detailed and specific in explaining how to break away from slowlanes and it changed my mindset for exploring alternative routes to freedom/wealth/success.

I mean it's alright like, overrated as f in my opinion.
I feel like depending on your experience in the entrepreneurial world dictates how you'll perceive this book. If you are a beginner I think this is a decent read. Advanced? Not really a good read until like the last 1/4 of the book.I feel like what let this book down was all the "talking". I really do believe this book didn't need to be this long at all. It did have value however, but getting to the value I think was too long of a process. If the author actually added more value instead of trying to hit word counts I would probably bump it up to 4 stars. It's just overall basic, but can't say it's entirely a waste of time. Should you buy? I'm not sure, flip a coin.
