A Wonderful Adventure My 8-Year-Old Loved
I bought this book for my 8-year-old and it quickly became one of his favourite. The story is exciting, imaginative, and full of heart. The character of Roz the robot is wonderful, and watching her learn how to survive in the wild and make friends with the animals was really enjoyable for my child. The chapters are a great length for younger readers and kept them wanting to read more each day. It’s a lovely story about kindness, friendship, and finding where you belong. We’re now very excited to see the DreamWorks Animation film version too. Highly recommended for young readers!

Beautiful setting, characters and lessons.
Simply beautiful setting, characters and lesson for any young reader. Read through this with my little one far quicker than anticipated because they were so enthralled. Looking forward to reading the remaining books.

Wonderful Read
Just a brilliant and entertaining read from start to finish. Well written. Yes but different in places to the amazing film but the content is still there. Still give it 10/10

***Best Books of our year*** and we read a lot!
What can I say! I have been reading the Wild Robot & the Wild Robot returns over the last few months at bedtime with my seven year old son. The chapters are short & so sweet and the story moves beautifully along in each chapter. We love all the characters and there are so many. We've had so many gorgeous discussions about values, life and death and so much more. We enjoyed the descriptions of the outdoors, the action, the feelings of Roz, the heart warming moments of helping one another. There is something for everyone in this book and we will count down the days until the third book where we catch up again with our robot. Roz and brightbill are well and truly in our hearts ♥️

A mark of a truly good children's book, is one that adults enjoy reading as well. This is one of those books. Bought it for my 7 yr old. We both agreed that this is by far the best book we've read together. The story is well thought out, we felt we could relate to the main characters and the author touches on several important points through the course of the book.

This is a great read for younger kids as introduction to long-form/novel book. My 7-year-old son enjoyed the story of a robot thrived and survived in a remote island. The use of animals as characters and illustrations added his engagement into the story. Although the book is lengthy - 80 short chapters - it is highly recommended for exploring.
