Metal Hanging Bird Baths for Outdoors,Outdoor Bird Feeder,Backyard, Patio Garden Yard Decoration (Gold)

A charming addition to my back yard. It took 30 seconds to hang and a couple hours for the birds to discover it, but once they did it seemed to become a gathering place for several types of birds. When I fill it up with water the birds start chirping from several trees and go to it once I’ve left the area.

This is a really cute bird bathe. It looks rich. Easy to clean the size is perfect and the birds love it.

I really liked this birdbath for the short time I had it. I live in Tennessee and I let water freeze in it a few times until I realized the copper paint was cracking and peeling off the inside of the bowl. I was afraid that would be harmful to the birds. So I threw it out. I used to have a ceramic one that also cracked apart after letter water freeze in it several times. I was getting frustrated with having to throw out bird baths. I decided to do a little web search and I found a tutorial on youtube on how to make a hanging bird bath using a thrifted Pyrex pie plate, a metal wreath frame from Michaels and a the chains from a hanging basket from the dollar store. I found all the parts and pieces and assembled it. I have to say I think it looks better than a lot of the hanging bird baths that are for sale. And because Pyrex is supposedly freezer safe, oven safe, food safe, etc., I'm hoping it will survive all the seasons and also be easy to clean. And if it does end up cracking, I can just find another one for $2 at the thrift store and replace it. I am giving this bird bath 4 stars because I did like it so much until I had the paint peeling issue. It was very attractive and I just cleaned it with a scrub brush. It lasted a little over a year. BTW - I also would like to add that if you put a few older copper pennies in the bird bath, for some magical reason it helps keep the water algae-free for much longer. The US pennies have to be 1981 or older for them to work. I put 5 in and it made a big difference in keeping the algae at bay. But of course you still need to clean the bird bath frequently and keep fresh water in it for the health of the birds.

we have a friend that bought another bath that doesn’t have a little bird statue on it, and she never gets birds using it - so i think this helps a lot! its sturdy and great value for the cost! it was easy to install and we immediately went straight to watching birds!

Was a good bird bath until about 18 months into use. I used a solar pump to keep the water moving and changed the water on a regular basis. Birds would visit to get a drink. While I liked the sturdy construction and ease of use, there was a problem that materialized that caused me to discard this product. After about 18 months of use, I noticed the paint peeling, which is not good for the birds. See photo. I am now searching for an alternative, and if a hanging one will look for one that is either composite or glass. If I go with a pedestal type, then concrete.

Good size ,deep enough bowl with room for birds to land and drink. perfect to hang along feeders.

My husband & i added a solar water spout & it’s very cute. The chain & bowl type feeder is well made, worth every dollar. Excellent!

It looks really nice in person; I put a solar fountain in it and I've gotten lots of compliments about it!
