Sweet tooth and love black licorice. Delicious but addictive.

Very disappointing. I was careless. While purchasing Brachs black jelly beans and THINKING that this product was Brachs ( pictured next to the jelly beans I was purchasing, nicely stacked candies--colorful, varried, nicely displayed), I added them to my cart. THEY WERE NOT BRACHS! They arrived in an opaque bag with no windows. The candy smashed together, old, broken,and looked as if scraped from a bin corner while cleaning. One star since flavor was ok, but my most disappointing purchases on Amazon. J. Mullen, College Station, Texas.

Great purchase if you like licorice

As a fan of allsorts licorice mixes, I frequently buy them on Amazon, usually the brand Yupik. Since that brand is temporarily out of stock at the moment, I chose to buy this brand instead. I don’t write negative reviews often, but I have to agree with several other reviewers regarding the taste of these. Though they are indeed tasty, I couldn’t help but notice they just aren’t very “licoricey”. This brand was more expensive and seems more sugary and sweeter than your average allsorts mix, with a much weaker taste of licorice. I can’t agree with those reviewers who say they’re “stale”, though. I think that’s a subjective thing. I actually prefer this candy to be on the firmer side, not super soft and squishy. Some may consider that firmness to mean stale, but I like it that way. I’d give this one a “meh” and won’t likely be buying it again. Disappointing.
