Big Girls' Sequin Skirt And Chiffon Top Dress

This is a stylish and lovely dress that's not too over the top. I wanted something simple and classic looking for my daughter to wear to her piano recital and wasn't really keen on those flouncy tea dresses but something a bit more under-stated yet elegant. This fits the bill perfectly. My almost nine-year-old daughter is 56 inches tall and so she needed something that would not be too short on her frame. I purchased this in a size 10 (Medium) and it fits her perfectly. The hem falls just slightly below her knee and drapes well over her slim frame. I was worried the armhole was going to be too big but it isn't. The chiffon fabric of the blouse (black) is soft against the skin which was another plus factor since my daughter is very sensitive to prickly clothing (fabrics that cause itching and irritation). The skirt that comes attached to the blouse is in a beautiful light pink color with sequin details that add a bit of glamour, and comes with a sewn in slip underneath. All in all, this is a great dress for the price.

Got this for my daughter to wear to the theatre. It looks amazing on her. I thought it would be shorter on her because she's so tall but it is a great length. If your child is short it may be a little long but if she's tall like mine it won't be too short.

We bought this dress for our friend's daughter, and she loved it. It's very sophisticated for a little girl's dress.
