I purchased this for my car. I am short and seats don’t adjust high enough for me to see the road well unless I use a booster. Pillows flatten and so does memory foam. This one is pretty firm, so it works for me very well. I still find it comfortable. Before I took it to my car I used it in my dining room chair where I sit to feed my grandson. The angle usually hurts my back, but using the cushion makes it completely pain-free. I ordered a second one because I want one for both places. Although it is firm, I find it comfortable even on long trips.

Fo rsomeone who has very little cushion in the backside, this has been a saving grace. I bought two so that my co=pilot could also enjoy such a luxury, if needed.You will sit "high on the hog"" if you so choose with this. I need to give you a little bit of the 411 here.I am 117 and 5'6. I drive a jeep grand cherokee.. from 2015. This vehicle is loved and we have replaced the cushions in the vehicle. But to no avail. It has not improved the ride. Thus, the addition of these heavenly cushions to adorn my buttox.I now sit high in the sky! And it does not go down like a whoopee cushion. Could this be due to me being a lightweight? Perhaps... but i am going to say it is more likely that it is well made and is sturdy, with the proper support. I use it every time I ride in my chariot. So I hope this helps in the process of whether you do or don't move forward in such a purchase

After having some rather severe muscle spasms down in the tailbone region, I decided I needed a cushion in the interim as I try to procure a better chair. I ordered this cushion because I needed it same-day and it was one of three available, and I liked the idea of the pull-out piece.After using it for a couple days I think it's helped. I still need to get up and stretch, but I can at least sit for an hour long meeting without intense pain, which is a huge improvement. Yes, there is a difference between using it with and without the tailbone cutout. I tried it as just a cushion with all components attached and it was too painful to use after about 15 minutes. The way I use it is as the donut pillow, but I stick the extra piece behind me. This is by no means a replacement for good lumbar support, but it does ensure my hind end stays in the right place, and makes a difference as to how long I can sit down. Without it behind me, I can't get that full hour, only about half an hour. Big thanks to another review that mentioned doing that!The cushion itself is on the harder side, as folks say in other reviews, but at almost 300 pounds this is welcome as opposed to a squishy cushion that would probably provide me with no support. It's more comfortable than my very worn-down office chair, at the very least, and it doesn't hurt my legs as other cushions have done in the past. I'm 5'3" so I have to carefully control my chair height - though I've found the same applies to anyone not in the magic 5'7" to 5'11" height chairs seem to be designed for. I wouldn't recommend using this on a squishy couch or anything with great padding already as it would be too uncomfortable and would move around quite a bit even with the nonslip fabric - but for people with similar issues in the tailbone region, sitting in between couch cushions (as long as you have a plush couch) would provide similar relief.I can't really speak to how it works in regard to the "donut seat" functionality, and I wish there was a second insert that filled the donut without covering the tailbone piece as a comparison, but at least I can sit down again. I also have not tried to clean it yet, but it does have a removable cover. I doubt it goes on nicely again, things like that rarely do, but it's still better than throwing the whole pillow in the wash.

I bought this about 6 yrs ago, have used it almost daily for 8+ hours a day and it’s still doing its job. I work in law enforcement and wear a duty belt which caused pain in my tailbone as I drove my patrol vehicle. I began using this pillow and haven’t had pain since. Yes the cushion it is stiff when you first sit on it but after about 5-10mins it conforms to your body providing the perfect support. As strange as it sounds, you would think something that I’ve been sitting on constantly would start to have an odor but I haven’t experienced that. The cover is removable and I would suggest washing it inside out. I’m only writing this because I considered replacing it but then I realized that it other than usual wear, it still works great! Packaged poorly in a thin plastic layer which was ripped upon receiving.Overall the cushion cover is soft and seemed durable. Side handle seems useless for automotive use. This cushion didn't have any straps to secure to car seat, cushion slid around and shifted during use. The cushion had not cooling properties so if using in warm climate you will sweat. Works well in a compact sizes car, way to small for an suv or pickup sized vehicle front seat.

This cushion lifts me up about 1 1/2 inches and is comfortable. It is firm but not noticeably stiff. Seems to be made of good quality materials and workmanship. We'll see how it lasts.

This seat is excellent for added height and actually makes a difference. Makes it easier to be able to see over the dashboard. It makes driving feel so much safer and more comfortable. Highly recommend for shorter drivers or anyone who needs a little boost!

The product is well made and very comfortable, it was very worth of money and the value top notch.
