What a machine!! Loads of power!!! Will dig a good deep post hole even in hard dry mid summer ground. Will shift stones even in dry hard soil. Easy to start, runs well seems to be good quality for what is a cheap bit of occasional use kit. I would advise being careful with it because on full throttle even Arnold Schwarzenegger couldn't hold on to it!! It will rip out of your hands. Takes a while for the pilot part of the drill to go in on very hard ground. But with common sense and practice and careful steady progress (listen for rocks and take your time) it's excellent. The small drill will make a nice tight hole for for a 4x3 post and then knock it in with a post knocker and it's quite easy. It does take some holding onto though so be careful!!! But again makes fencing easy!!! I can do a post in 5min easy with relative ease compared to a 15min struggle on a dry day in tough ground. Soft ground you it will dig almost instantly. Absolutely worth it!! 👍

I used the tool to replace a broken strainer and to begin a series of holes for " Ranch Fencing " . The Augur is effective and very reasonably priced , it's easily assembled from the box and should reduce manual labour and time spent .

We bought this with our breath held as the ground at the property is so dry and hard we just can’t get through it. But this did , quick, easy to assemble. Starts and runs as it should. Would definitely recommend.

Do not waste your time with this auger, the quality is terrible. The throttle cable is incredibly thin and snapped the first time using it. The exhaust fumes discharge directly into the operators face. I don't know how the seller can claim this is heavy duty, I've seen more robust children's toys!

Machine is very easy to handle even by me as a 72 year old and quite light. Good capacity drilling holes down using extension down 1 meter. Delivery made from supplier within 24 hrs.
