What does the potting mix consist of, what are the ingredients? Thanks.

I have the bag in front of me and the Ingredients state: This product is formulated from 45-55% sphagnum peat moss, peat humus, perlite and dolomitic limestone to adjust pH.

Is there supposed to be small holes in the bag?

Yes, the soil being organic, the bag breathes a bit so it doesn't go to mold (which will happen if you fold it closed and clamp it past the breathing holes).

Does anyone know if this is a good potting soil to mix with fast drying succulent soil to make a mix?

No. It holds a lot of water. You should look into bonsai mix. It's basically tiny rocks and bark. My succulents are really happy in it. You might have to water a bit more often than if you used cactus mix , but it depends on your environment.

Does this soil contain any pesticides and or insecticides? I would like to use this in a mixture of substrate for my invertebrates and want it safe.

It’s advertised as organic, so I highly doubt it.

Perfect potting soil.

Great texture, my lipstick plants were successfully repotted into this potting mixture. I also use Espoma fertilizers with great success. Happy Gardening.

Great for porting plants.

The Espoma potting mix is great for my plants - delivery arrived on time and the bag as clean and intact. The instructions on the bag are easy to understand and follow, and are in English. Wear gloves when using the pitting mix for your plants to keep your hands clean, and using a trowel or shovel to add to your potted plants makes gardening easier.

Kiddy Bags

I give it a four because my feelings were hurt when I saw those two little kiddy bags. They would be perfect for little kids projects but I have more than one plant. And now I wonder what the biggest bag looks like, I’m scared because that’s $22 I believe. Wow
