It will move our 7 and 10 yo grandsons around our pool, especially when augmented by wearing swim fins. It is very buoyant and I attached a 5 lb weight to adjust for that. Then it was easier for the kids to dive down toward the bottom of our pool. Good fun for them to try to maneuver through some submerged hoops. Both hands must stay on the seascooter for it to work. Not enough power for effective use by adults but appropriate for youngsters as advertised.
