If your noise is due to a ground loop, this is an excellent solution.
Full disclosure, I am a beyond retirement age electrical engineer, some would say an old school analog engineer. I bought a Garmin GPS device that offered an AUX output in addition to a Bluetooth link to connect to my car audio. My car is too old to include Bluetooth. I bought a Bluetooth adapter for my car but it was not able to link to my Garmin GPS. For many months, I tolerated the wine of the alternator when I used the GPS. I didn't hear noise when the engine was off. To verify that I had a ground loop noise problem, I plugged headphones into the Garmin Aux Out jack. I didn't hear any noise from the engine. This convinced me that it was a ground loop problem. I knew that an isolation transformer was a good solution to this problem. I read a lot of reviews and found that some customers of other products complained of lower volume and loss of bass. These are not surprising for a cheap transformer. Some suppliers claim frequency response flatness to be too good to be true (fraudulent). I am very happy with the sound quality with this audio transformer (noise isolator). My Garmin GPS offers Amazon Alexa so I can now listen to noise free music and never miss the navigation instructions.

Didn't work
One of my computers has a hum when hooked to my studio monitors, so this was to be the solution. Since it was only that one computer that did this, and it didn't have a hum when plugged into headphones, I thought this would eliminate the hum. It didn't.I purchased another more expensive device to remove the hum and that one worked- so I can only surmise that this one was either defective or simply wasn't the appropriate design required to eliminate my issue. This could be particular to my specific application, but the fact that another device resolved the issue- I simply have no way of knowing. It's not clearly marked for input and output and is remarkably unattractive in its design. Your results may vary.

Worked for me
I've been living with an annoying hum on some outdoor speakers we use for holidays and music. With music being played, it's not terribly noticeable, but in between songs, it grinds my teeth. This little adapter solved the problem. With the label facing you, it's in on the left, out on the right and that's it. The rectangular cube stacks easily on a shelf or behind your receiver. Solid metal case with a good 3mm male-to-male audio cable makes it feel like a quality build. Plus, the noise filter performs better than expected. Easy to recommend.
