SO well made and sturdy for the price
No complaints, out of the box this is a very well made and very sturdy. If anything happens in the future I will update this review... but I'm so impressed on first inspection!

Options a plenty. Quality build.
You can do just about anything with this. Some configurations take some thought and are not as simple as some may hope. That is a trade off for not paying 3x as much for less functionality. It's nice and I am pleased. I do wish the monopod was a center leg that could slide into the tripod. That would allow fast switching and leaving the head attached. It's easy enough to remove the one leg Also wish they plate attachment on the head was a standard quick release. But hey you can buy one you love or use one you have already, since this has standard threads to attach it to. It's heavier than the average tripod. Comes with a decent bag.

Awesome tripod
Much better than a basic tripod, well worth every cent. Versatile, very well made, sturdy. A great addition to my camera gear.

A very well-made, feature rich and heavy duty tripod
The first thing I noticed with this tripod as I'm unboxing it is how well-made it is. All of the parts and pieces don't have any weird rattles or loose parts. I also noticed how heavy this tripod is. Coming from someone who has been using the carbon-fiber heavy-duty Neewer tripod, this one feels like it weighs a ton. Here are some pros and cons of the Manbily tripod in comparison with my experience with the Neewer tripod.Pros:- the ability to turn the center post horizontal is great. It allows me to keep the field monitor off of my camera when I'm not using the full video cage rig.- the center post is notched and not fully rounded allowing for the mounting adapter to sit truly perpendicular. This way the heavy and expensive gear stays upright and not slightly down accidentally preventing any potential damage as you tighten the adapter.- the angled hinge is notched by preset degrees allowing for precise angle adjustment of the center post. I can also confirm that the horizontal notch is a true leveled 90 degrees.- I like the one-button mechanism to remove the center post. The center post can also securely click once it reaches the end so you don't accidentally pull it apart from the tripod legs.- the monopod leg is very lightweight and very comfortable to use as a walking stick- there's a fluid mechanism that allows you to smoothly rotate the hinge mechanism 360°. The rotation feels almost as nice as a fancy fluid video tripod head.- the tripod head is very nice and easy to use. I prefer this over the Neewer tripod head on the carbon fiber tripod. The adjustment knobs all tighten very easily and tightly.Cons:- the tripod overall is incredibly heavy. While the legs of the tripod are sturdy and don't feel like they weigh much, most of the weight is from the hinge mechanism and the heavy duty tripod head.- the tripod head can not smoothly rotate 360°. It feels like it has a lot of resistance compared to the rotation feel of the hinge mechanism despite loosening the knob all the way.- the mono pod leg can only be attached to the tripod head and not the center column. This means that the monopod can not extend very high. The monopod on the Neewer one can attach to the center column, allowing for it to be much taller if I need it to be.- the tripod can still be susceptible to jitters and vibration when the legs are fully extended and the center column is mounted horizontally. The shortcomings of this are not deal breakers and I'm giving this tripod a 5-star due to it's stellar quality and feature-rich flexibility. However, if I were to travel with a tripod, I would still choose my Neewer carbon fiber one due to how heavy the Manbily tripod is. Regardless, this tripod is perfect for my studio and I highly recommend it.

Camera Tripod Manbily 70 inch Horizontal Aluminum Tripod Monopod
There are things I definitely like/love about this tripod and things I find very annoying. First the like part is that it is very versatile and can do things and put my camera in positions my other tripods really can't. Additionally, it is lightweight and easy to store/transport. Also, it can adjust to a variety of heights from very low at 7" to fairly high at 70" that as well as allowing for the camera to be mounted and shooting upside down for macro photography. I like the versatility even when or if I am not using it that way, just because it is there if I need to use it that way in the future. But what I dislike intensely is that instead of locking levers the legs use a twist tightener system that is super annoying to deal with for me. But to be fair many other tripods use the twist ring system as well so that is a preference thing really. However, if they used a locking level system it would be much faster and easier to set up and take down, and if they had that type of tripod available, I would likely have chosen it but they do not. The thing is that with the twist rings it is a cumbersome process at best, so it is more suited to using it where you set it up and leave it that way for some period of time. Don't get me wrong, I do not regret having it, I just wish the design process had been geared more towards making this easier to use and faster/easier to set up/take down.Full Disclosure: I got this for free for testing and use the criteria of 1] would I have been ok with paying full price, and/or 2] would I be willing to buy it at full price after testing if I wanted that type of product or another similar one. In the case of this tripod, while I love what it does, I would likely spend a bit of time looking for one that used locking levers instead of twist rings so that it is easier to deal with quickly so it is hard to say whether I would buy one, the price is decent, and the versatility is great I just would likely look for something more to my person liking is all. It is not that it won't do what I want or what others want/need, it is merely that it does not do it as easily as I would like.

Not Lightweight. 8 Pounds
This is not something I can carry into the field. It is really, really heavy over 8 pounds of long weight. If you are just using this to take pictures and you don't need to move it, it would be awesome. But lightweight for hunting, field research, or hiking- no way.

Manbilly tripod
I am a complete novice to photography and this is my first tripod. This tripod is a bit heavy if you have to carry it around but I don't plan on it, it will be used just around the house so it's perfect for what I want it for. It's excellent quality and very sturdy. I am very happy with my purchase.

Solid
I bought this for my stop motion projects. It has a good weight to it and has a good quality feel.to it. I did not buy this to carry it around. Some photographers may find this to heavy to be portable, but saying that the quality is fantastic. You put it down and it stays there.

A well made tripod but quite heavy
This tripod is well made but is a bit on the heavy side so best suited to studio work rather than carry around in the field. It comes with a nice storage case and spikes to fit to the end of the legs for better stability on soft ground. It has an extension arm that means you can have the camera overhead or very low to the ground, which is good for things like product shots.Extending the legs can be a bit fiddly but they do lock well.

The best quality and so versatile
The media could not be loaded. My old metal tripod still works, but it's doddery. I also have some more basic tripods that break easily with use. I needed something though that fully served my purpose at home and outdoors. This is it.This is a professional, top quality anodised aluminum tripod and monopod kit. It has attachments for additional equipment, such as lighting, phones or laptop trays, or counterbalancing, and it also has rubber or spiked feet options for different surfaces. This will work in most conditions.I myself am not tall but this is. It towers, over me anyway, at 70" tall and even stretched out to that height it's as sturdy as you can hope it to be. To combat uneven ground, you can adjust each leg separately, in length and angle. The legs can lift 90 degrees to the tripod.A feature I really like is the overhead, horizontal arm. It slides easily between the three tripod legs for storage, then when you need it, it pops out just as easily, to lock into position at your chosen angle. The ball joint fitting then gives your camera all options for tilting and positioning. This works well for photography over desk areas. An added bonus is that one leg unscrews to become a monopod. A top quality monopod. With a really nice, padded bag, this piece of kit is excellent. It really is. The construction is solid and it's fairly lightweight even though very sturdy. Everything turns, twists, clicks and locks into positions very smoothly. You could buy cheaper but this is a quality investment that will last many years. I thoroughly recommend it.
