Malco Modes Ruffled Lace Bloomers for Women – Pettipants, Gothic Ruffle Shorts, Cosplay

I have a 35 inch waist, weigh 160 lbs, have an athletic build with regular size thighs (I run) and the Medium fit perfectly. I could have went with a Small, based on the size chart, but I am really glad I went with a Medium. I got the 100% cotton pettipants and am able to wash and dry these without concern. I didn't notice any shrinkage These pettipants are comfortable and allow me to swing dance without feeling conscientious. The length hits me exactly like the photograph. I never have to pull the thigh portion down or adjust them due to shifting. They stay right in place and are not constricting or binding. The waist does go higher then my normal waist but they do not cut into me like control top pantyhose do. I have these in Ruby Red and Raspberry. The colors are awesome. I believe that they add a tiny bit more bulk under my dress then my spandex exercise shorts do but they are much cuter when doing jumps and flips. I feel sporty, flirty and the crowd always cheers due to the extra little spark that these pettipants have.

I ordered an XL. fits great at waist and hips however it is very tight on my thighs. The material is very stiff. Feels like a starched pair of denim jeans.

I bought this to wear under a nurse's costume that I am wearing in a show that I'm in. The skirt is short and the ruffled pants are perfect underneath. They show a bit on the sides, where the skirt is the shortest. I wear them over a pair of white stockings. They are perfect and very comfortable. I usually wear a size 6 in clothing and was happy to discover that they were not too small.

Quality is fine, but these fit very tight in the legs due to the lace. fit comfortably around waist. Mine say "P" on the tag for size. When I check my order archive, this order goes to XS, so not sure what size they are. I wear a size medium for underwear, leggings, skirts. My jean size is usually 7. My purple pair says M on the tag and those fit me far more comfortably and I usually wear a medium. They feel rather heavy, thick, etc. Scratchy fabric. I hate wearing them and can't wait to get them off, but they work for a costume. Feel hot under a skirt. Also bulky, so plan on them pushing your skirt out and making you look fatter than you are. Great for Halloween, but I'm not enjoying doing dance performances in them due to the itchiness and tightness on legs. Nothing is perfect though, so I would order again when needing a specific color for a costume.

This is my third pair of these pettipants. They are GREAT for costumes - cute & frilly, but long enough to wear on their own (if preferred). The red ones (w/stripey tights) have been part of a yearly Santa or elf costume, the black (w/stripey tights) were great for my pirate costume last year, and these white ones are for my superhero this year. They fit great and are very comfortable.

I had a white (maybe it was red) pair of these from Malco Modes, 2 years ago, for my Bushel and Peck number when I played Adelaide in GUYS AND DOLLS. And I ordered the raspberry ones this year for playing Princess Winnifred, in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. These are just adorable! Please go by the sizing chart, and they should fit. If you want them a little tighter or a little looser, order a size up or down. I wear a size 14 pants, and I ordered the XL. They fit well and are roomy, but not loose.

Too much material on top. I need to roll the waist up a few rolls. Makes for a lot of extra bulk at the waist.

Fit as expected, however, the color was WAY OFF. I ordered the Peacock Blue N21, which looks like a VERY LGHT turquoise. What I received was a VERY DARK turquoise, even darker than the turquoise pettipants shown in the ad. (The dark color I did receive did say N21 on the tag.) However, they are very nice and I can use them for something else, so I am keeping them.
