I wanted to see how easy this was before tackling a larger project and it was a great beginner kit! It gives you step by step instructions and all the supplies you need. I love the outcome!

I like this kit, which includes everything needed. This was my first time working with tiles and grout. After sponging off the excess grout I noticed some defects in the surface (third photo). I wish I had reserved a small amount of the grout powder so that I could try to fill in those spots?More information on how to avoid/fix grouting defects would be helpful. When you apply the grout everything just looks black and it’s hard to tell if the grout has completely filled in all crevices. Also it appears as though there may have been a few bubbles of air trapped below the surface that were exposed when sponged. Perhaps I was too aggressive with the sponge when removing the excess grout? Or the sponge was too wet?

It turned out incredible and was easy to make.

I bought 2 of these kits to have one pieve for each of our 4 grandkids ages 7 - 12. Everything we needed was included, however, it required adult supervision. It helped to have the kids plan their designs on a mock up diagram we made out of cardboard. The black grout is messy but manageable and required a pail of water to continually rinse out the sponges. A very creative art project that I would highly recommend.

It turned out beautifully. The instructions (with picture representations) were clear, concise, and very easy to follow. All the necessary materials and tools were included, including a few extra tiles that can be used for another project. Very pleased and it will make a lovely gift!!

It was fun, and the mosaics turned out pretty. The glass tiles are very nice, and one gets really many in different shapes and colors. One of the bamboo plates came with a bit of mould though, which we had to remove. The instructions are quite clear, but we had to wait way longer than it said there to be able to wipe of the gruel from the mosaic pieces because the mixture was to wet. We wiped away some of the gruel because of that, and that doesn't look too good. I liked the set, but all in all I find it overpriced.

My sister purchased this kit for me and when I received it, I told her I was going to immediately work on it. Lots of extra tiles so I will look for something else to use the leftover tiles with. It turned out beautiful. I might purchase another one.

I've never done mosaic before, but this kit made it super easy- providing everything you need already prepped and ready to go. There are even designs to follow if you're not feeling very creative. I followed along with the provided design and I had more than enough tile pieces to complete my project. The cement only required the addition of a little water. My only problem with the project is that I was not able to completely get all the grout off of the surfaces of my tile pieces.Overall, quick and fun craft. Suitable for many ages. Not very messy at all and everything needed is included!
