Wrap Around Rain Fly
I found 2 versions on the NaturNest rooftop tent, one with the wrap around rain fly, and the other with the rain fly in the back as it sets on the vehicle. The reviews I found were for the "back" rain fly. For me, I chose the wrap around rain fly. My logic is that in case we wake up and there is light rain, we can exit the tent on the side, opening the side door without letting the rain in. We prefer entering/exiting the side entrance as it seems easier rollling into bed. There is an additional spring pole for each side, but that takes me less than a minute to install. I did notice that it does NOT have the vents that the other version has near the top of the tent when opened in the cloth material. Not a big issue for us, as we can simply open the side windows slightly and leave the screen closed. There was a small bump in the bottom of the tent, obviously due to fork truck damage. I contacted BamaCar and they quickly resolved the issue to my satisfaction. Overall I am a very satisfied customer and recommend BamaCar and NaturNest.

Instant setup
I have camped 7 times in 2 1/2 months that I have owned it. I would give it 4.5 stars. Don’t get me wrong I really like this camper. A couple of cons. First day the mattress pad was thrown out and replaced with an air mattress. My hips hurt to sleep on the thin pad. It is super dark you can’t see you hand in front of your face and that freaked me out. So I started leaving windows opened a bit to get moon light in during the night. It is some how getting wet inside after I dry it out with a heater and fresh air. I may have not tucked the tent in all the way? I will keep an eye on it. Pro’s it set up so quickly, except I have to blow the mattress pad up. The shocks work great for opening it. I have camped in 35 mph winds hitting broad side and it survived but I should have parked into the wind, but it held up well! I love being up high off the ground. The led light is nice and right inside. It super flat and I have not seen any issues while driving.I have not tested gph have not noticed a change. I love that I can still see out all my windows and have no obstruction to my views. Thick fabric, again so thick it is dark inside. Feels sturdy. I love the 3 sides of the awnings. Again, I’m working on the moisture issue I have noticed. It is getting cold and frosty and it is a metal box essentially. We camped in 33 degrees last weekend and the temp inside was 43 in the morning but we were never cold all night. The humidity was 97 percent though inside but we woke to thick fog also. The walls do get wet. I have 2 moisture collectors in it now so I’m hoping that will help with the moisture I don’t like to see when I open it up after 2 weeks of not using it. Again it may have been the tent was not tucked in all the way? All in all I love it!
