I last bought these LED Golf Ball 4W Warm White Small Bayonet SBC B15 Cap from the Long Life Lamp Company in December 2015 and they were a perfect replacement for the incandescent bulbs I previously had. So when one failed and needed replacing, I ordered the same again. The photo in Amazon's listing looks exactly the same as the ones I previously bought and they are from the same company, but when they arrived this time there were significant differences. The bayonet B15 cap is much shorter and the white bulb base where the electonics are is much more, well, "bulbous". Amazon's listing shows a picture of the bulb I needed but they sent something that, although technically correct, has a different shape that will not fit in the bulb holders that I have.I don't know how, but I must have chosen the wrong option in the returns process because I am now required to pay return postage, so it's hardly worth returning them. Which seems unfair given they show in pictures a different product to what they sent!

Had bulbs now for about a month, so still too early to know if their promised life in hours bears out. Can't fault the strength of the light though which is very bright considering they are LED 4W. I have two of them in an antique style lamp (because it used 2 small bayonet old style bulbs) on my first floor landing, which lights up my stairwell perfectly well. There is no heat from the bulbs whatsoever to the touch. So overall, good quality light, good energy savings and very good value at the current price. Highly recommended.

Advertised as "warm white" but these are extremely white and very bright. I replaced 6x40W frosted bulbs in two 3-bulb ceiling fitments where the bulbs face upward and the result is that the room appears much brighter. Good for anyone who likes reading but creates a much "harsher" bright look which can make the room feel too "white". Loses any "cosy" atmosphere. Might be better using 3W (=28W). Not sure if you can dim them.

Good product but didn’t fit my lampshade space. Can’t really say anything about longevity

Impossible to get these locally at a reasonable price so pleased with this purchase.

Good price for 4 bulbs. I have a 3 bulb light fitment in the hall but these are too bright for a small area so will be using them elsewhere but if you have a large space to light these will do the job.

Good bulbs, give a slight warm colored glow and lots of light for smal bulbs. Well made

I have bought from this company a few times and always been very happy with the products and service provided. Sadly the new version of this light bulb has a shorter bayonet and does not fit my light fitting.
