Jaime and gracie!
When Grace found out minutes before her wedding to Ian, that he had stolen $15000 from her parents savings plus a chunk that was for the wedding and $150,000 she has been saving for a bakery of her own, she left. Jaime, his groomsman and friend, flew her to his family's ranch in Wyoming to escape. She loved it there and was baking so many pastries to sell not to mention falling in love with a broken man aka Jaime. This had so many twists and turns but was such an awesome story.

“You’ve pulled me out of a dark and lonely place, and I never want to go back.”
This series covers four hockey friends whose beloved coach left them his Wyoming Renegades NHL team. Jamie is the on-site owner, still torn up that one of them was injured years ago while they were doing what teenage guys do, chasing thrills. He keeps himself from getting too attached or allowing himself to be truly happy, a messed up kind of penance for Booker's injuries that dashed his dream of playing in the NHL with the rest of them.Grace Giordano suddenly becomes a runaway bride when she learns, right before her wedding, that her fiancé stole thousands of dollars from her and her family’s bakery. Jamie, a groomsman in the wedding, rescues Grace and she accompanies Jamie back home to Wyoming. This is the place where Grace finally begins to figure out who she is, apart from her family business and others' expectations of her.Instead of the boring croissants and muffins she made at her family's bakery, Grace is making beautiful, mouth-watering pastries and ends up with a food truck at Calamity's big summer festival. Combining her love of singing a current popular artist's tunes, she's dubbed the Singing Baker. Grace is having the time of her life, and when she's not busy making and selling her wares, she's falling more and more in love with the hockey player slash rancher, his tortured soul, and his fearless, charming six-year-old daughter.Oh my heart, y'all, this story is exactly why I read romance! To laugh, to cry, to feel my heartstrings tugged, and to have my emotions manipulated in the most delicious ways only to leave me with a great big grin and a satisfied, happy sigh at the end! It's the best evocative ride with stomach-dropping dips and sling-shot turns that made me want to jump back in line and ride it again immediately. Funny, charming, poignant, and heartfelt, this will be one of your best romance reads this year, so make sure you don’t miss it!

What a wonderful way to spend your not wedding day. Finding out about your almost husband did, making you second guess everything. But so happens that the worst brought about the best. This story will totally change your mind about love, how you can overcome your own demons. Loved this story.

Amazing
From page one I did not want to put this one down. Erika did a fabulous job of creating a wonderful story with characters you wanted to hug and others that needed slapping into shape. This is the first book in a while that prevented me from daily chores and sleep. I truly enjoyed it.

Are Jaime and Grace destined to be together?
Jaime and Grace’s love story was both heart warming and heart breaking. Jaime came to Grace’s rescue when she learned, on her wedding day, that her fiancé had stolen money from her and her parents. She did not have forgiveness in her heart and Jaime helped her run away from the wedding. He took her to his ranch in Wyoming where he set her up in a guest cabin. Jaime has a young daughter, Kinny, and Grace loves her spirit. Sadly, Jaime is a broken man. He can’t forgive himself for an accident involving one of his best friends, ending his professional hockey career. Jaime blames himself for Booker’s accident and he can’t allow himself any happiness. Because of the accident he is over protective of his daughter and doesn’t allow her to pursue activities she is interested in. Grace intervenes and encourages him to allow Kinny to take skating lessons. She falls and experiences an injury. Jaime can’t cope and pushes Grace away. Broken hearted Grace returns home to Rhode Island. When Jaime realizes what he’s done he goes to find her. Was he successful or was Grace done with being hurt by a man. Beautifully written by Erika Kelly!

So much to love about this book
Loved this latest instalment in the Calamity Falls series. This story has so much regret & pain from a previous bad choice & also from the loss of trust of a lifetime love, but it also has the bloom of a forever love & the chance to make dreams come true. Jaime has peaked my curiosity in the past stories as we learned of the accident that came from a bad decision at a low point in his younger life. Now we see the regret & remorse that holds him back & plays havoc with his life. Helping runaway bride Grace brings him to life & awakens a need for a fuller future. Grace is running from her wedding to a man who totally betrayed her & gambled her dreams & her parents money away, but with Jaime’s help she finds her passion again & also finds herself looking at a totally new future. Jaime & Grace are a fantastic couple that clicked right from the beginning, there was no work up to them it was instant. There’s so much to love about this book as we watch the ups & downs of falling in love & learning to trust again, we also get to see the love between a father & daughter & also the special bond between Grace & Jaime’s daughter. This story also gives us the perfect amount of humour in a sassy 6 yr old curious little girl & a singing baker who sings while baking & selling her products & meets her favourite singer. This is a must read story if you enjoy this series. I read this book for an honest review.

Thoroughly enjoyable read.
This was my first book in this series and also by this author, and I will now have to read the rest of the series from the start. I really enjoyed this book, it kept my attention and was a sweet and sexy read. I especially liked the heroine Grace, and Jaime wasn't too bad either, he was definitely a great Dad to his sweet daughter. The couple's chemistry was enviable, and so were Grace's pastries. I hope to see a bit more from them in the next books. I'd love to see a book with her brother Romeo.I liked the author's writing style, and I will most definitely be reading more of her books in the near future.

A lovely read
A cute, unique little story. If you’re looking for an easy read, you won’t regret picking this one up.Grace is a sweet and likeable character who unknowingly found herself in a bit of a rut, and is only freed, after finding out her fiancé has betrayed her. (And probably not in the way you are thinking). I enjoyed watching her find herself, even if the situation she finds herself in is a little unorthodox.Jaime is a single dad, doing his best to be everything his daughter and his family need. As such, he doesn’t think he has time for anything, or anyone, else. It’s a little painful watching him make excuses to keep Grace at arm’s length, but he’s a good guy, and this is a romance novel, so there’s no real surprise when he eventually comes to his senses. You know what. I may have undersold this one. It may be worth four stars, instead of three. *changes star rating* I may just have been a little salty, as I found him inheriting a hockey team a little confusing. I always felt there was more to the story there, and perhaps there was in an earlier novel in the series, but really, I think that’s my problem. He has a hockey team, who cares. I also, seriously loved how Grace handled things with Jamie. She wasn’t one of your typical wishy-washy female characters. Once she found her strength, she wasn’t going to let herself backslide.Happy reading!

Loved this
Normally I would say that Jamie was a rebound relationship for Grace, but realized that although she was going to marry Ian, it was not a love based relationship. She really had no feelings for this man. Jamie and Grace are great together, they bring out the best in eachother. And Jamie's daughter, wow she was adorable.I am so looking forward to Bookers story!!
