These yellow carnations were just what I needed to mix with red and white for a Rosie the Riveter themed event. They come long-stemmed, but were easy to clip with floral or wire snips (or even scissors) to turn them into short-stemmed picks. They are large and full and I didn't have petals falling off anywhere. Color is amazing! Not a lemon yellow and not a school-bus yellow, but a very pleasing shade in between. I have already used them for 2 separate events in 2 separate shape arrangements and they are going strong. I expect to use them in many more ways for many more years to come.

I’m surprised about the negative reviews…flowers crushed, box was too small…flowers cheap…. None of this happened to me. My flowers are great.. I put 100 red carnations on our Christmas tree and they look fantastic. The six inch stems hold the flowers in place. I’m happy

I needed to make some homecoming mums and could not find the mum flower anywhere. In desperation, I bought these and they are working perfectly. They do come smashed up but I just grab my heat gun and zap them for a couple of seconds. They opened up perfectly. These are cheap but that's just what I needed for my project. I definitely don't recommend using them for weddings or nicer events.

The color and quality was strong and beautiful. I just wish they had sent me the right color. I made a beautiful arrangement out of it for a funeral. Using a glue gun and heart shaped back Styrofoam.

The flowers were easy to work with. The metal picks came off easily. Was able to use fishing line and make 2 small full realistic white carnation lei for a ceremony. Very pleased with the outcome.

I was wary in reading reviews of how crushed the flowers came in box and some buyers either spent hours fluffing or one person just threw them away. So when they arrived I started unbanding the bundles and tried to fluff each by hand which didn’t really work and having ordered 4 boxes (400 flowers) I wasn’t going to spend a frustrating day doing this. I then thought of the ‘wrinkle-free’ setting on my clothes dryer. So I started by dumping 100 flowers into my kitchen sink filled with warm water and swished them all around. Then placed into a colander to drip, then to the basement and into the dryer. I used the “wrinkle-free” setting, high heat set for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes they were dry and totally fluffed out (see photo) Now 2 important points. One, I threw in a couple dryer sheets the first time thinking that would expedite fluffing out but many of the sticks with teeth got caught in the sheets, so next try I omitted the dryer sheets. Two, the flowers (sticks) kept getting caught in the lint trap. So I wrapped a thin dinner napkin over the grated openings in the trap and slid it back into the trap opening. Problem resolved. So the first box took a little more time for trial and error but in the end it took about 30 minutes to do 400 flowers. (Well it took the dryer 30 minutes !!) I would just like to add MHO and frustration in reading reviews particularly ones that start “you get what you pay for”. These flowers are only .18 each and crushed into a box. OK, so what would you be willing to pay to have each and everyone totally perfect? $2 each?? No way!!! It’s somewhat amusing in that these are being used to “create” many beautiful things as shown by obviously creative customers who added lovely photos to their reviews. Thinking outside the box sometimes requires a creative solution to solve a problem. So don’t throw them in the trash, throw them wet into your clothes dry!!! Enjoy!!!

They have a fairly decent look. The fabric used is somewhat papery. My main issue is that they were bundled together so tightly and then crammed into such a small box that they are all smashed. So I'll be spending hours trying to fluff them up and I may have to steam some of them. It was the best price I could find. Just keep in mind the extra labor of fluffing.

Arrived all scrunched up but fluffed them back up with a hair dryer, heat directed at the back of the carnation look really nice when done .

Absolutely beautiful and will work perfectly for my wedding! Price was a bit high, but I'm still happy with my purchase!
