Bought this BRITA Glass Water Filter Jug because our coffee machine's built-in filter was about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Enter this majestic jug — sleek, glassy, and surprisingly fridge-friendly. I was expecting something the size of a medieval urn, but it actually fits right next to the milk like it belongs there. It’s only 2.5L, but somehow doesn't hog space like that one flatmate who spreads their hummus across three shelves. Now our coffee machine has stopped sulking, the water tastes like it was blessed by alpine monks, and we feel unnecessarily smug about our hydration choices. We use it exclusively to fill the machine, and I half expect it to start purring every time we do. Honestly, this jug is probably the most refined thing in our kitchen. It’s glass, so we feel classy. We’re not. But still. Highly recommend if you like your water filtered, your coffee smooth, and your fridge slightly more sophisticated than it was yesterday.

Bought to replace an old plastic water filter jug, our initial reaction was some surprise that it was larger in diameter than the old one and didn’t fit into the door shelf of our fridge. With a little re-arrangement we moved it to a middle shelf and began to appreciate its benefits. It has a bigger capacity than its predecessor, easy to fill and replenish and feels more substantial. Overall an improvement on the earlier jug and a worthwhile upgrade.

I've had a couple of plastic Brita jugs but I've always ended up not using them as I cant get them as clean looking as I would like. But this glass one is so easy to clean and looks clean so I feel confident. The use timer in the lid works well and seems to be accurate. Easy to fill, clean, and use. My only disappointment is that it is not fridge door friendly so we can't use it for cold drinking water, we use it to fill out kettle and coffee machine and it's really cut the amount of limescale. Not too heavy but not as light as a plastic one. It's sturdy but being glass it will break if dropped, but it feels like it will withstand a bang on the sink, but we are being careful! No horrid taste so that great.

After shopping around and even giving a competitor a fair shot, I've come back to Brita, thanks to their sleek new glass carafe. This thing makes filtering water feel like an upscale experience. It's not just about looks, though—it’s also a breeze to clean, and you won't have to deal with those unsightly scratches that plastic carafes develop over time. Plus, glass just feels more hygienic. In most cities, filtering your water is non-negotiable, and I've definitely noticed an improvement in taste with Brita. It's like going from tap sludge to mountain spring purity. However, there is a minor hiccup: this carafe won’t fit into the fridge side door. Seriously, Brita, a little fridge-friendly design wouldn’t hurt. Despite this minor flaw, I still wholeheartedly recommend it. If you want your water to taste great and look stylish while doing it, this glass carafe is a must-have. Just make sure to clear some shelf space in your fridge and enjoy your elevated hydration game!

Facile d'emploi et d'entretien ! L'eau a une saveur douce depuis que j'utilise ce système et je constate que je bois bien mon litre d'eau ! Carafe en verre elegante et bien que fine est résistante. Pour l'été je mettrai le contenu dans une bouteille en verre au frigo car la carafe n'y rentre pas, ce n'est pas un problème si vous en faites aussi des glaçons !

The packing was very good upon arrival. Instructions are simple to follow. The smart light is easy to switch on. Water taste is natural. I used to have the Brita plastic one. Since the microplastic problem occurred, I decided to get a glass one but the filter part is still made of plastic. It would be better if this is also made of glass.
