**Q: Does it detects arritmias like supraventricular arritmias?**
A: This is the best unit in my opinion. It detects not only bradycardia, tachycardia and atrial fibrilation but also preventrucular contractions, basic arrhythmias. I’m not sure about supraventricular arrhythmias but probably. It’s a great and reliable unit.

**Q: Does this measure heart rate variability (HRV)?**
A: No, not that I’ve found at least.

This Emay EKG monitor is a great little tool to help you track your heart health. It is small, portable, easy to use, has a built-in long lasting rechargeable lithium battery And best of all, there is no subscription required. Therefore, no on going expenses. An excellent easy to understand user manual is included. It is immensely helpful. Do yourself a favor and refer to it as needed. It has the answers to most of your "how to" questions. Just so you know, I am 80 years old and not at all tech savvy. I had no problem setting it up, using it, downloading and installing the software from the Emay website to my PC and using the APP on my smart phone enabled by bluetooth. This is not the case when I usually get a new device. Generally my stress level goes into overdrive, Not fun. I found the power button needs to be held down a little longer than the 3-5 seconds noted in the instructions (probably due to my age). It also took me a while to get the correct hand position, grip, and pressure right for recording. After a few practice sessions, I figured it out. If someone like me can use this, you certainly can too. Get it, use it. You won't regret it.
