Yes you can use in car, there red blinking light back side of camera, you can off and on blinking light permanently from camera application settings. And front of camera there no light even if you will on night vision there no light, night vision working good and can not be detected "where is camera". But very clear clean video not possible because small camera less resolution and megapixel.
