Does Power supply needed to operate 220v?

I used 110V with the unit I received. I will say that I was not impressed with this tool and plan to return it. It would run a few small nails, then stop, and start and stop. Never knew when the thing would decide to operate, but it certainly wasn't an issue with overheating. The device really struggled to get nails in completely, even with the soft pine I was using. I do not recommend this thing.
