Smoke Bomb: Smoke, Book 3

This story had a little bit of everything. This Smoke series since the first book had me caught and the whole different style of story line is a unique and intriguing read. Some parts pulled on my heart strings. Abbi has done it again, love her stories.

4.25 starsThis reminded me of other Abbi Glines tropes that she is very well known for. There was a ton of tension and angst. There were misunderstandings that caused this friction between Huck and Trinity that I loved. The passion and heat between these two made for some erotic times between them. The family aspect of welcome Trinity into the fold was great.Even though I did like the smutty scenes, I did wish there was a little more emotional intimacy and affection, and a little less of them going at it as rabbits. It felt a little bit on the rush side for the falling in love portion of their romance. If it was a tad longer it could have been explored more.However once Huck got that protective, alpha male deeply in love and told gone for Trinity, the little that was in there with affection and intimacy was so good. I did in fact buy that they were deeply in love by book’s end. I was happy that they got their HEA in the end.

I LOVE HUCK!!! Gahhhh! He was not what I was expecting and Trinity was so soul crushing broken. I adored her strength to over come all she did. This was a great installment in this series!

To say this series has me in a chokehold would be an understatement, the way Abbi writes these books is so captivating that once you start you just can’t stop. I need to know what happens, I need to be there when it does. Does that mean I want to be a part of this world? Absolutely not, but it is fun to be a fly on the wall.Trinity and Huck’s story isn’t an easy one to read, Trinity’s life has not been good, and surviving trauma is no joke. But she has survived and with the reluctant affection from Huck she is coming into her own person. A person she didn’t know she could be.Listen, you need to read this series, the first two are a duet and must be read together, but this is a standalone with most of the characters we’ve met before and continue to love. This one has some parts that could definitely trigger some, but don’t let that deter you. I’m quickly becoming a fan of Abbi’s and I can not wait to see what she has planned next!

The way I love this series is to the extreme! Abbi Glines has been absolutely nailing it with this series and every book in it.Smoke Bomb is book 3 of this spicy southern mafia romance. You don't necessarily have to read the first two books since these are two different main characters, but you definitely don't want to miss out on any of the delicious drama and southern men in all of them! I absolutely love getting to read Huck and Trinity's' story! It was so raw and emotional. These characters also brought the heat with this one. Their chemistry is undeniable. The secondary characters always enhance the story as well. Abbi always leaves me speechless because of how great her books are. This book is so good!Abbi Glines really is my comfort read, my go to, always one of my favorites. I have yet to find a book from her that I wasn't a fan of. Smoke Bomb definitely lives up to the name and the hype of how good it is. I highly recommend this book for all to read, as well as the entire series!

This was not as developed characters in story as bòok one. It was hard to like them, or to understand WHY she liked him.

Funny juxtaposition that everyone in the mafia is noble in their cause and every church going person crazy and/or evil.To bad because I would have enjoyed the book a lot.

Number 3 I this series and it remains totally spell binding. We catch up with Blaine and Maddy a little and their adorable son Cree, but this storyline is dedicated to the journey of Huck and Trinity. Trinity has a dreadful life, but through being in the wrong place at the right time she is whisked away to stay with Huck. The two met at a funeral and family come first. Gage and Levi’s characters are also enhanced as the story continues of Huck and Trinity’s tormented journey. It is full of dark material that is sinister, but not totally mac carb . Sensitively written , with enough description to get the savage, cruel pictures that fold. A totally romantic storyline too with some wonderful romantic scenes, and also denial of feelings, emotions and the obvious truth. Wonderful and has taken me a while to get back into this eauthors work, but my goodness it’s so absorbing and a great way to escape into a literal mindstorm. Very binge worthy.

Its beter to first read Smokeshow and Fireball. But it can be read on its own as wellicht.Its a really hot serie.Trinity didnt have a easy youth. She met Huck at the funeral of her fiance Hayes. Her stepmother was not nice and Trinity finds it hard to trust other people.When she starts with a new job, her life gets turned upside down. She recognizes Huck as the brother of her fiance. Hé forces her to Come with them. And she finds a world she never experienced before.Will she finally meet the people she can trust? I love this book and ofcourse the other 2 books as well. Abbi Glines always takes you on a amazing trip, every book again.

Beautiful frustration. Man, I felt a lot reading this book. The main man was a tough one to like but I was unable to not fall head over heels for the brashness, the brutal and unforgiving honesty, and the arousing attractiveness of all that was this man. It was impossible to not hang off every word written. It was shocking and almost heartbreaking when I reached the end. Usually an ending is like a little death for me. I mourn the loss of not reading more about them. I miss them for a time after I finish. I experienced that feeling 100 times more with this story. I am constantly blinsided by how acuteIy and wholeheartedly I am still affected by these love stories. I have literally read thousands and authors like this one seem to raise the barre each and every time. I love that feeling of an out of control roller-coaster ride. The rush of the story unfolding amd getting to know each character, the good and the especially bad. The naughtier the better. I just cannot get enough of each complexity and idiosyncrasy that each character possesses. It's never dull. There is no lull in any story so far. It's back bending intensity at its finest. 5 stars.

Well, she out did herself with this book! I loved it. Just when I think a book of hers is the best I’ve read I read her latest and say it’s the best.
