New spool for a new flux core welder. It feeds smoothly, without binding or unspooling, and burns well. I'm still tweaking the welder, but at this point it seems to have a good melting point and welds with decent spatter control and no tip burn or fouling. As we know, the versatility of flux core makes it preferable to stick or gas-shielded welding for some positions, and outdoors where wind can affect the gas. Right out of the box it seems a bit brittle, but I've found 0.030 flux core to often be that way. By the time it's loaded and run through the cable it's fine - just handle it gently until then. This wire comes vacuum-packaged in a foil wrapper to protect it from rust and contamination. Better packaging than some competitors, which can arrive with light surface rust or oxidation that can affect the quality of welds. And the price is right - about half the price you'll see at the big home improvement stores. Based on the many positive reviews, this might just be the preferred wire for beginners and for experienced welder alike. One thing I wonder about is the thickness of the spool itself. On my new welder it seemed to have a little extra thickness, enough that the spool, tension spring, spacer, and washers left too little room for the tightener wingnut to engage the spindle's threads. Might be an isolated problem, but if so you'll need to find a workaround.

I am SHOCKED by how good this wire is. I use a Vulcan Migmax 215 from Harbor Freight and I've had it for about 5 years now. After having really poor performance from cheap Amazon welding wire I've just ran Harbor Freight's own brand. This wire was about 20 dollars cheaper than the HF price, but has been the BEST wire I've ever used. Less spatter, better beads, cheaper price. I'll definitely be getting more of this.

Just opened the package and tried it out it burns a little hotter than the last cheap wire I used but the welds are strong and for the price it’s hard to beat

Lays a nice bead. see pictures, now i have not welded in 30 years, or ever flux cored before and first day with a new machine, i had to dial in took about 6 beads, but i produced the pictured beads after less than 10 minutes and about 6 tries. Very low smoking and spatter, nice puddle, used 18-19 volts at 85a w a 120vac multiprocess Azuno 200 . This is 3/16" steel. .035 i bought this wire after watching a YouTube channel i like and glad i did, good results for a great price. i just ordered some other Yes welding spools of different sizes and dome gas solid core and aluminum to try also,, see if the quality and results carry over, but i recommend this wire for a good GO flux core.

I was not sure if this was going to be a wise purchase since I had never used anything but Amercan name brand flux core wire in my Lincoln welder. What an amazing suprise the first time I used this YESWELDER flux core wire, it works great! It came well packaged, you could not ask for better protection for shipping or long term storage. This flux core wire welds amazing well, even over not so clean metal and leaves a strong durable weld. This flux core wire flows really well, very low splatter, and makes it easy to set heat levels. The spool fit my machine better than than the OEM spools.

I am a newbie to welding, but man is this stuff good! Ive tried a few others and they just do not stand up to this! Especially price-wise, this is simply amazing! Who would have thought that a brand named "yeswelder" would make such high quality wire!

My new report: the better miller machine does VERY well now with the flux core wire AFTER I realized that my welders polarity was reversed!!! I was ready to give up on the Miller and go back to my cheaper Lincoln. I’m glad I found out about the possibility of it being a polarity issue and I swapped the ground and gun wiring. Because of the current quality of weld, the packaging, clean wire, smooth quiet feed, and reasonable price, I’m changing to 5 star. ——————— old review below—————- welds nicely but wow, what a LOT OF SPLATTER!! I tried multiple settings, and it's NOT just because the wire feed was too fast. I ran this with my new Miller 141 and lincoln flux core wire through my Lincoln 140 welder on the same metal and the difference was NIGHT AND DAY! Virtually NO splatter with the Lincoln wire and TONS of large splatter with the Yeswelder wire! This splatter could NOT just be wired off either, must be ground.
