Is the recorded audio stored on the mics or the receiver unit?

The recorded audio is stored on the transmitter. Each transmitter comes with built-in storage to record up to 7 hours of audio. You have two options to export the recorded file: Option 1: Return the transmitters to the case and connect the case to your computer via the provided USB-C cable. It works the same way as a thumb drive. Option 1: Export the recorded audio file through the AnkerWork software of PC version.

Can i use these for teams or zoom calls on a pc or mac m1?

We used it on zoom on a Mac and an iPhone. Haven’t tried teams, but you can configure it in the Mac settings so I’m sure it’ll work as a mic for any app you need it to.

Can i connect to an external speaker? Such as being used for giving a class?

Yes, the Receiver module has an output port. The cable needed will depend on your speakers. You may need an amplifier, if your speakers are not self-powered.

Question for AnkerWorks (others give guesses for answers): What lav mics are compatible with no noise or interference?

I’ve tried tascam lav with 3.5mm connector and for some reason signal from one transmitter was being picked up on both channels of receiver. (settings on receiver were stereo). Without lav plugged in audio from both transmitters were picked up as individual channels (as they should).
