Claymore, Vol. 9: The Deep Abyss of Purgatory

As Clare and Galatea continue their battle against the powerful Awakened Beings Riful and Dauf they realise that they cannot defeat them alone and attempt to free the tortured and abused Claymore Jean. During the fight the Claymores discover the true plans of the Creature of the Abyss Riful and Clare gains information on her ultimate target.This is another great volume of Claymore with the fight between the three Claymores and the two Awakened Beings is very good and there are some indications of plots within plots that could prove interesting in the future. As well as this the cliff-hanger at the end of the volume is also very interesting and should lead to some nice action in the next volume.
