If you're interested in the book - there's a good review on Youtube
There are Youtube videos by the Wilson Institute and CSIS showing interviews with the author. ('Arms of the Future: A Book Talk With Jack Watling').Watling is Senior Research Fellow for Land Warfare at the Royal United Services Institute. This 2023 book which defines the problems facing the tactics, force structures, and concepts underpinning mechanized warfare in a new age of informatized warfare. The second part concerns how armies need to structure themselves to be competitive in this future-operating environment, how they should be equipped and trained, and how they will need to be commanded.I spent around ten years in the British Army - regular and territorial, have read a lot of military history, and have followed military affairs in the news over the last couple of decades. This book has significantly improved my understanding of army doctrine in the past, present and likely future; and of the technology that is causing those changes. If you're a soldier, MOD civil servant, military affairs journalist, historian, equipment manufacturer, or considering becoming one, (or if you just want to understand what is happening in the Russo-Ukraine conflict) - this may be the book for you. In a single 226 page volume it provides a structured and comprehensive understanding of land warfare at the tactical and operational levels. The physical book is a paperback printed on good quality white paper with clear type.

Very interesting but not an easy read
A book that projects the near future of land warfare. Very interesting but not for the layman. The only real defect is the massive utilization of acronyms by the author. Either you are already an expert or you loose your way looking for the first place the hundredth acronym was introduced and explained.
