5 Stars for this 4K 50" Ultra HDTV Roku TV at that! Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision HDR.
Fantastic Value on an HDTV with tons of features that can't be beat. TCL even had awesome packaging on the HDTV to protect the screen. Actually some of the best packaging I've ever seen on a TV like this. The thing works great right out of the box and those that want to tweak settings you'll be able to easily do that too but most won't find it necessary to do. Easy setup and eARC makes it easy for setup of other components that take advantage of that like AVRs and Soundbars. 4 HDMI inputs on this one so you shouldn't have any issues hooking it up to your other HDMI components. Remote is basic and easy to use without having to consult convoluted directions. The thing just works and it works great at that. Very pleased with it and honestly this is my third TCL TV so I appreciate the value they offer in a quality product. Give one of these a try and I bet you won't be disappointed with it.

Extremely well packaged. After a few picture and sound tweaks this is a great set for the value!
This was hands down one of the best packaged TV's I've ever purchased, even outdoing the much more expensive OLED's I've purchased.Setup was simple, it's zippy, not on the level of a roku ultra but as good as the sticks. You probably want to tweak the picture settings a little and maybe even sound. Easy to do, when watching something hit the star button on the remote to get a sub menu. Once I tweaked in there the picture is great. It will reflect light so no bright lights in front or you may get a reflection. I have no issues with viewing angles. This is wall mounted in a mancave shed we're building out, and I couldn't be happier for the price.

It's ok for the price.
Replacing a 9 year old 40" Samsung as I wanted bigger that would still fit in by cabinet and offer 4k. This fit the bill and also has dolby sound to use with my 5.2 marrantz avr. Improved, but not dramatically, in picture quality. On a lot of things, soccer games noted, it doesn't seem bright enough but increasing brightness control washes out the picture. Had an issue with dolby direct sound as it would go out every few minutes. Search online recommended some changes to the Roku settings. Seems ok so far although now and then sound gets louder or softer by itself. The larger screen just fit into my cabinet and the small difference is noticable. Relatively easy setup...was already using Roku. The 4k is noticable on some streams and not so much on others. Would love to have the football look on soccer games but don't think that's the TV fault. Would also like more offerings in 4k... again, not the TV fault. Have to say the touted ability to keep high motion pics clear is not that good, or my old Samsung was actually much better than I thought. Also, MLS on Apple tv offers some crappo unclear streams. All in all it is an improvement but less so than i was hoping for. Good for the price.

Great TV for a great price
I'm not by any means a TV fanatic where I need the best of the best technology so just having a TV that looks good and functions well is good enough for me. I bought the equivalent of this TV like 6 years ago but it ended up getting damaged in the move so this is the replacement. The other one lasted a long time without any complaint and I'm sure it would have lasted much longer if not for the move damage. I also have this same brand in a 55 inch going on 7 years. Highly recommend this TV for a good quality picture, easy functionality with roku, and a fair price. I also noticed this TV weighs about half what my old ones of the same size was, so they definitely made some improvements in that time.

So far, love it (compared to another TV that has FireTv instead of RokuTv interface
So far I just love it. I bought this after returning a Hisense equipped with Fire TV interface. I only stream all my shows and especially news, and I already HAD a ROKU module (Ultra LT) as my interface of choice on my main TV in the living room.THIS Tv - I bought to replace the "other" one (a smaller 43 inch with the credentials above). This TCL WITH ROKU built in was chosen because there was no sleek way to attach another ROKU device. So I got a tv with ROKU built in. But the newer one (the other one I only had for about 2 months-luckily still within the 90-day return window of "a buyer's club" that I shop at every week for 25 years) gets the internet stream NOT via ethernet like my living room tv, straight from the nearby wifi router, but via wireless wifi. STILL works great. So far. We shall see. But it's terrific. The other interface that the returned 43 inch had was horrible; never holding our place even if paused for less than 5 minutes, and when I shut power button "off" it would still play ads. Not to mention how I would try to access my streaming program (after a short pause) but only get a black screen but with sound. I would have to go through several hoops to get back. Not with Roku. No ever - not even on this with it built in.Also, the main thing that you do not want with streaming favorite channels: the returned 43 inch- it would NEVER keep your place in "history" either on YouTube or Rumble etc... you know ... the way it always is... no matter what device.Nothing against Hisense- just to be clear it is a great tv mechanically and all that. But the interface (it was "fire tv")- it left a LOT to be desired which is why it went back (Ughhhh off the wall mount, I re-packed it all perfectly with care and completeness... you know the deal)I love my Amazon Fire tablet however so I still don't know why the TV with a similar interface name was so different. Oh well I am too busy right now enjoying THIS new Roku-built in TCL. I will research this however when I get the chance; just wanted to share my experience. Hope it can help somebody.
