Always buy four it will be easier to put your tire on
These tools worked exactly as claimed. What I recommend is always have four on hand as you will need to work around the rim while keeping the tire you've already put on in place. It's almost impossible to do it with just two. The quality is very good.

Broke bead in less than 30 seconds...zero effort
I had been working on breaking the bead on my 14" EUC tire for the better part of an hour. The tire hadn't been on there for more than a couple weeks (just wanted to try out a different tread) and it just wouldn't pop. It was only a 14" tire. It shouldn't have been that bad, but it just wouldn't stop holding on. I tried spoon method, clamp method, even pry bar method. Had plenty of soap and water. Nothing.I finally gave up and just ordered these. Best thing I ever did. It broke the bead in less than 30 seconds. It broke on the first try...almost no effort. Did it in one more place and I was done. Amazing. I'll never go back.Quality is fantastic. They are heavy, strong, and I can't imagine them every breaking. I wish the price was lower, but even so it's totally worth it. You won't be disappointed unless you are trying to break the bead of giant car tires. Highly recommended.

Game changer for an old shadetree mechanic.
I have always spooned tires on and off the old fashioned way. Just some dish soap and water, spoons and elbow grease. But I just bought a used KLR, and the previous owner had a tubeless Shinko rear tire installed at the shop. The sidewall on this tire is very stiff, and I could not get the bead to break using my old methods. I have heard of people even cutting the tire off of their KLR's. I am too old to butt my head against a problem. At my age you just find the right tool, and 99% of the time its no sweat. These irons ARE the right tool. There was no learning curve, no issue whatsoever, that tire bead was broken on both sides in 5 minutes. I will never change a motorcycle, ATV, or riding mower tire again without them. The spoon sides of these are also very useful. I found myself not even using my old tried and true Moose irons. It really is an inspired design, kudos to Motion Pro. Get them, you will love them.

Excellent tools - very sturdy, made the job easy
Worked exactly as advertised. These are fantastic for removing/replacing tires (my use was for a riding mower).I struggled trying to remove a tire with prybars and screwdrivers, and gave up & ordered these. After hours with the prybar, these tools removed the tire in 10 minutes.Someone left a negative review for these tools complaining that they were not good for breaking the bead, but I do not think that is the intended use (buy a bead-breaker for that, like "beadbuster" - excellent tool). These tools are for removal and re-installation of the tire, and for that, they are perfect. For seating the bead on the new tire, I was able to squeeze the tire a bit (more or less "hugging" the tire to make it fit the rim tighter, and using my air compressor to quickly fill it & seat the bead.

Great tool, but don't expect miracles. It still takes some effort.
They worked pretty well for breaking the bead on the rear tire of my Hayabusa, but it still took some work. Also, don't have your face above the tools when pushing down because sometimes they slip and pop up with enough force to knock your teeth out. I almost found out the hard way lol

It works, it's sturdy, and didn't mar
Just got these in today, and just by chance, the car got s flat today. Hopped down to the garage where a car tire sat, flat (a 205/65r16, Conti extremecontact dws). One pass around, bead was loosened. Due to the wider bead seat track on this rim (as with most car tires), I had to use a few pieces of 1x3 to keep the bead separated, then one under the tool - and plunk. Off goes the bead! No gouges, no scrapes, just light marks. I was worried of the steel marring the rim, but the smooth finish was rather gentle. As for the tire lever side - it's thin enough to get in between, it's still strong enough to use the leverage required, but the tip curve does not seem to be as great as my tire levers by motion pro. Easier for them to slip. If the goal is to get these also fir that purpose, bring aanother iron out with you that has a bit more hook at the tip.I'll be swapping out a set of bias ply tubeless motorcycle tires in a week or two on painted cast aluminum rims , and will update then. Will also be prying off a set of Michelin PR3s this winter. Will update with each job.The heft isn't so bad for touring. If you're going off road or hardcore sport touring, the aluminum ones may be the way to go. If you have a beast of a bike or are going destination sport touring, I believe these guys are the way to go. They seem as though they'll hold up in the shop and on the road.

If your are reading this, just add it to your cart. Trust Me!
So if you are looking for tire spoons look no further. If you are like me and didn't want to give your local motorcycle shop easy money then these are for you!I acquired a flat front tube after riding my 2014 Triumph Tiger 800xc off road, over all kinds of terrain. I had previously decided that i would want to replace the tube myself. However I didn't want to screwdrivers and other items I had laying around in attempt to remove the tire and tube.I have experience with bicycle tires but have never done a motorcycle tire before. I knew tire spoons would be key to get the job done effectively and efficiently. These "Bead Breakers" are designed to be married together to initally break the bead of your tire to the rim. I was impressed when i first held them. They feel solid and durable. They work very well. Once the bead was separated the rest was straight forward. For me there was some difficulty since i was replacing a tube on the front wheel. At one point i wished i had 3 of them in order to get the tire back onto the rim. It took me a little bit because I was nervous of damage or bending the lip of my rim. However my brute strength didn't damage anything...I would definitely recommend these to anyone in the marked for tire spoons. These offer more than just a leverage device.I would also recommend getting the Motion Pro RimShield for some added protection to accidental scuffs. Thanks and good luck!
