I've been told this can help with Bruxism (teeth grinding) has anyone tired it for this reason?

Although this is not the reason for my purchase. The device should help in the reduction of teeth grinding. Properly fitted the Therasnore forms a distinct barrier between top and bottom teeth, and should reduce any movement of the lower jaw. The guard has a comfortable gel texture where it contacts the teeth, which will again reduce any friction between teeth. Like the previous correspondent my main reason for the purchase  was as an anti snoring device, which works very well. So much so that this is my second one. I would certainly recommend this as the best of its sort. Raymond Irvine.

I have worn these in comfort for years. Just bought a new one and it is really uncomfortable has the design / materials changed?

Thanks for your answer - the plastic is much harder than before and digs in behind my lower teeth. Does that improve? I have worn for two nights and it hurts! I have fitted these many times before so I am not doing it incorrectly.

how do you make it fit as there was no instructions

You need 1 saucepan of water and 1 bowl of cold water.   Boil the saucepan of water and drop the upper mandible in for 3 mins then remove.  When cold enough to put in your mouth place it with the soft plastic on your teeth using the triangle on the harder plastic to line up with the centreline of your front teeth.  Bite down hard and then push the soft plastic around your gums on both front & back until comfortable.  It should be like a gumshield and not drop out when you open your mouth.   Take the mandible out and drop it in cold water.    Look at the upper mandible and locate the numbers on the sides 1-5.  On the lower mandible there are arrows on either side to line up when you snap it together.Take the lower mandible and drop it into the boiling water for 3 mins and remove.   Shape the softer plastic post, I find by not much.   Then attach it to the upper mandible on number 2 both sides.   Put the upper mandible in your mouth and then bite with you lower teeth to the front of the hanging down post so your upper teeth are slightly in front of your lower teeth.   And bite together.  When comfortable take the whole contraption out and drop in the bowl of cold water.  Hey presto, it's done in about 10 mins!
